Medieval-style L4D2 with kickass lore, fantastic characters, fun classes and in-depth mechanics that are easy to learn, but difficult to master.

May Sigmar guide your strikes.

Updated for 811 hours of gameplay, opinion still stands.
This game is fantastic and I highly recommend it if you like co-op.

Unless you're getting it to play nuka world and/or far harbor, get it somewhere else.
You can easily get this for much cheaper outside of steam.

Absolutely amazing game.

This is an incredibly addicting experience, and while it may be hard for the first few hours, it's 101% worth getting into.
Grab a copy for yourself and a few good friends, or find an experienced squad to teach you (like I did) and fire away.

With mods, this game is all I want to play. I dream about it, I can't wait for the next mission, it's like ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ heroin but oh so perfect.

Currently I have <50 hours, so I'll probably update this as I gain more experience, but it's an incredibly immersive game that most definitely deserves your attention.

Probably one of the strongest recommendations I'll make here.

Metro Last Light is one of those few games that manages to capture a gorgeous picture almost no matter where you are.
Whether it be the unforgiving metro tunnels, or the harsh Russian winter of the surface, nearly every level is incredibly well-crafted.

It has one of the most beautiful soundtracks I've had the pleasure of playing to, and the sound design is great.

Past this initial praise, I would however like to bring up an issue I noticed with the game, which may very well just be me.
It's too easy, much too easy.

What I mean by this is that not even on Survival Ranger Hardcore (Hardest difficulty availible), do I ever really feel like I'm struggling. Supplies are plentiful if you know the stash locations and don't forget to loot enemies, the only real issue I encountered was the cap on how much you could carry, which led to me having to abandon a fair amount of loot on each level.

What I personally think can (and should) be done to fix this, at least to some degree, is a custom difficulty level, where you have control over different variables that affect the game's difficulty. This would give players much more control over their experience, and could drastically improve most people's experience.

That being said, this game is an incredible experience, and I found myself playing it over and over again, even with the linear story. I really appreciated the moral system as well, while it may be a bit black/white as it is now, it's definitely a step in the right direction, and I can't wait to see what this talented studio does with Exodus.

TL;DR
Great game, go get it.

EDIT: Updated for 250+ hours, several replays in and still loving it all the same

Initially not recommended due to Take Two's anti-consumerist modding stance, I'm updating this now to reflect on how I've wasted a thousand hours on this game without really feeling like I got anything out of it.

GTA V is an amazing singleplayer game, but GTA Online is a soulless "job away from work" that's expertly designed to leave you feeling unsatisfied.

If you value your time and want your pasttimes to respect it, avoid this like the plague unless just playing for the story.

Early Access Review
Like DayZ, just without the fancy graphics and heavy game engine!
Perfect mix of minecraft and DayZ, ideal for people with normal computers that can't handle heavy games, just like myself.
If you like killing zombies, you'll love the game, with over 10 different rifles and 3 pistols, tons of melee weapons, grenades and more, you'll be a mean zombie-killing machine in no time!
Definitely a yes, 11/10
