Welcome and :yorha:GLORY TO MANKIND:yorha:
I try to find what I love in life and through that search I have become a game developer and writer. Although, I have no talent in either.
I am a very private and shy person. I am not good at starting conversations, but I love to talk and listen. However, I promise I'm a nice person. Stupid and awkward, but nice :steammocking:

I'm someone who have chosen to dedicate his life to the art of games... mostly gaming. I studied computer science with a speciality in game programming. (Now getting a degree in Multimedia Design too). When I'm not studying or gaming, I write. It can be almost anything like short stories, poems, novels, game concepts, reviews or simply scribble my thoughts down. Though I have no expertise in writing, it is lovely. However, Gaming and games in general does take most of my time :D

I want to thank Oles for creating my artwork! Go give him some love! All his work is amazing :D

However, I promise I'm a nice person. Stupid, but nice.

You will rarely see me interact in text and I never voice chat. You are more than welcome to write to me as I'll happily answer. Starting a conversation is just not one of my skills. When it comes to voice chatting it simply Isn't possible. Social anxiety and awkwardness makes that sort of communication invalid.

I do achievement hunt and no, i'm not proud of all the games I've 100% in. I don't do it, because I want to show off. I do it, because i find it fun and often rewarding.
To 100% a game gives one a sense of actual completing a game, to truly say, it is completed. So, yeah I do have quite a few small games 100% and sadly a couple of spammy ones too. I love to help out fellow hunters even if I have already gotten the achievement! I would love to help you too as long as you are open to help me!

Assembled With Love
Assemble With Care is a game with a light, cheerful and dare is say - idyllic story. A story about family love and supporting ones family for the good of both or multiple family members. That's at least what I think it's about.

Disclaimer: I am not, have never been or will never be narrative analyst. (My high school teacher can vouch for that). This means that my interpretation of the story might be wrong and you are welcome to ignore that part of the review.
---------------------------------------------------------

So.. What do we have here?
This game's story and gameplay is intertwined. Kind of Tangled together. When you proceed though the game, the story will "assemble" together. Story details will often be revealed when you progress. Simply speaking this game s like a mix between a very light visual novel and simple assembly of objects.

This might sound a bit weird especially if these game genres isn't something you would normally play. However, this "recipe" is a very crude and basic one. Even the most basic ingredients can be used to create beautiful and unique cake, if the bakers are good and passionate enough about it.
---------------------------------------------------------

Children's book for young adults
When the game starts a calm woman's voice will begin to tell the story, while text will appear on the screen. This is where I see a bit of a resemblance to a visual novel, even though small budget VNs is rarely voiced. The visual novel part reminds one of a Children's book. A few sentences on each slide with pretty colourful pictures, which looks like watercolour paintings. The Layout of these slides really reminds one of those small Children's books except the art is much, much better.
The story doesn't feel crafted for children, however. As previously mentioned the theme basically revolves around family values. A child may find that a bit boring. Actually I know so. My siblings now hates me for forcing them to listen to the story, for just 10 minutes. In other words, if you very young, don't care about- or do not like family, or simply want an action-packed story, this game will not be for you. Although, you should have realized that way earlier.
---------------------------------------------------------

HARDC-caring Gameplay
As a repairwoman restoring old heirlooms and technology your job in this game is quite self-explanatory. The actual gameplay is an extremely basic. A disassemble/ reassemble mechanic. You start by finding the problem if the contractor doesn't know. Most of the time disassembling the object will make the problem obvious. You then repair or replace the broken parts and reassemble the objects. There is about 10 - 11 actual repair jobs thoughout the game.

The game is easy. Too easy. Throughout the whole game you only need a mouse to play the game. I only failed to fix one object right away, but the whole fix still took me under 3 minutes. The game isn't great at making you feel smart. Often most spare parts you need to repair the object, will already be laid out for you, before even identifying the problem. Therefore, you may as well turn your brain off, while playing the game. When I saw the screenshots on Steam I thought it would be a bit more in-depth, but that isn't the case. Even when working with simple circuit boards the managed to simplify it even more.
To be fair these simplicity issues did not ruin the game in any way. Already before getting to the actual gameplay I knew the game would not have the biggest focus on gameplay. It was clear that the player shouldn't be frustrated at any point while playing. This aspect the developers hit perfectly.
---------------------------------------------------------

Assembly of the conclusion
First of all, the game is very short. I finished it in under 1½ hour. It felt very weird to finish a game I liked and still be able to get all my money back. However, this game is not about intense gameplay and a heavy story. It is light, beautiful and as I said - idyllic. This game is not just a game as so many others. It is more like interactive art.
It is still very hard for me to recommend this game. It is simply too short and it has no replay value whatsoever. I know movies have about the same length and a lot of people pay the same amount, if not more, for the same amount of entertainment, but it still feels like there is something missing to make this a truly special piece of art.

In the end, it is a great game and I do recommend it. I'm just not sure that I will ever end on mention this game to anybody after this review.
