Honestly, not a bad game!
The puzzles are quite engaging and interesting, the environment is atmospheric and the soundtrack is immersive.
If you like point and click adventures - this is the game for you!

Once again a huge AAA title with good graphics and attention to detail, but disappointing in every other aspect.
I will try to keep it the review as slim as possible, so let's dig into the pros of the game first. Don't worry, they aren't many.

+ Great attention to detail (as I said in the beginning). The world is full of wildlife, the vegetation is diverse. The cities are bustling with life,
the people are always doing something - they broom their property, talk to each other, smoke, drink, play cards; there are small animals like cats and dogs,
it's just so nice and comfy.
+ The scenery is very beautiful. What I really appreciate is that each area you go through feels completely different and has a unique atmosphere,
attached to it. Jungles, forests, snowy mountains, beaches, you have it all.
+ Amazing voice-acting on Arthur Morgan. The main character is pretty decent, to be honest.
+ You can grow a huge beard and have a cool hat.

Well... To be honest I was expecting the pros to be a little more than that, but truly I don't see anything else that would classify as a 'pro'.
Let's see what's up with the cons.

- Incredibly slow and mundane gameplay. I understand that the game is meant to be enjoyed slowly, but it's too much. I thought Red Dead was a game, where you are supposed to rob
trains and banks and cause chaos. However, most of the missions are just a long-ass stroll with a bit of gunnin' here and there. The looting animations are sooooooooooooo
slow, too - it takes ages looting a pile of bodies or skinning an animal.
- Pretty much a non-existent story. Basically, you're a part of a gang and do errand-boy stuff, so you can get your boss a nice new home on an exotic island.
- Way too many characters. I don't know the names of 75% of Red Dead's characters, because they appear like 2 times in the whole game. Not only that,
but they are so badly made - they are either very bland and completely lacking any kind of personality or they are so stupidly stereotypical, that
their way of acting feels forced as hell. I didn't get emotionally attached to any of them
- Every single gun feels absolutely the same. There is literally no reason for you to own more than 1 repeater, they all shoot at the same speed and have similar damage. Even
if they didn't, you're always aiming for the head, right? Why would you even care what damage they have if you always 1-tap your enemy. The revolvers are cool, but
they are useless. The customization options are terrible as well.
- Nobody, except for blacks, say 'niġger'. When it comes to that word, it's always substituted with 'blackie' or 'darkie'. Now I understand that the slavery is over, but
do you REALLY think that after it was abolished and everyone magically started acting like they've always known it was wrong and are totally against it? I don't think so.
- Karma system... Are you for real? ... This is a game, where you are the BAD guy, a villain, a robber and a murderer and you put a KARMA system??? I remember RDR1 also having such system,
which pissed me off back then as well. So basically - I go to a town, rob a bank, kill 250 police officers and then I go into another town, greet 5 people and my Karma goes up? K.
If there was a respect system - that would have been a different story.
- Atrocious horse physics. Your horse tips over the tiniest little pebble on the road which can result into it breaking its neck.
- Boring missions as a whole.
- Dull soundtrack.
- The legendary animal clothing is the ugliest abomination in the world.
- The inventory management sucks. Too many items doing the exact same thing. Keep these things simple! Why would I need 100 different kinds of food that restore the same stat?
- Failed core system.
- Glitches, bugs, crashes, launching issues and horrible optimization.
- Terrible Ultimate edition items and addons for a stupidly high price.

Well, there we go. I'm sorry if you don't agree with me, but that's how I really feel.
Everyone has the right to have an opinion and just know that I genuinely feel happy for you, if you are enjoying the game, although I sure as heck didn't!

Also.....
SOMEBODY ONCE TOLD ME THE WORLD WAS GONNA HANG ME
I AIN'T THE SHARPEST OUTLAW AROUND
THEY WERE LOOKIN KINDA DUMB
WITH THEIR SEMI-AUTO GUNS
AND THE PINKERTON BADGE ON THEIR JACKETS
WELL
WE WON'T STOP RUNNIN
AND WE CAN'T STOP RUNNIN
BACK TO THE PLAN
AND I HIT THE TRAIN GUNNIN
DIDN'T MAKE SENSE NOT TO LIVE FOR CASH
YOUR PLAN GOES WRONG
AND YOUR FRIENDS DIE FAST

SO MUCH TO STEAL
A GANG TO FEED
SO WHAT'S WRONG WITH A BANK ROBBERY
IF YOU DOUBT ME YOU'RE NEVER SAFE
YOU'LL NEVER MAKE IT IF YOU LOSE FAITH

HEY NOW, YOU'RE AN OUTLAW
PUT YOUR MASK ON
GET PAID
HEY NOW, YOU'RE IN MY GANG
FOLLOW MY PLAN
HAVE FAITH

BUT ALL THAT WILD WEST IS GONE
ONLY THE ISLANDS HAVE MY MANGOES

After 300+ hours of gameplay, having completed absolutely every single quest there is in the game (I used a checklist for that) and completing all achievements, I think I have the right to express my opinion. The game is objectively bad – it sure has some pros, but they are definitely outnumbered by the cons.
Now hear me out with the pros first!
- Some very good quests with an in-depth writing, interesting characters and plot twists. Example: The Bloody Baron questline, that’s probably the best thing in the whole game – the detective work you have to do is implemented flawlessly, the characters are interesting, have good background stories and the tasks connected to them seem purposeful and are actually quite fun.
- Great variety of creatures and monsters! Do you know how tired I am of games whose mobs are made like this: Goblin, Goblin berserker, Goblin assassin, Goblin warchief, Goblin fighter, Goblin archer, etc. etc. etc. In the Witcher 3 there is everything – gruesome zombie-like monsters, ghosts, spirits, witches, mythical creatures, animals and even some innovative races/creatures that you have never seen before in any other game or even movie or a book.
- Good lore (Mind that I say lore, not storyline)
- Great optimization. I run it at 1440p/100fps on max settings and it feels fantastic!
Some neutral stuff:
- Graphics. They are nice, but they look like any other AAA game made in 2015, so I don’t see the big deal.
- Scenery is alright, although it’s the same forest for 75% of the game and then some tundra.
- Loading times are not so bad.
- The witcher sense is a better way of leading the player to the objective instead of an ordinary quest marker.
- Gwent – it can be quite fun at times, but most of the time it’s a boring chore.
Now, let’s look at the cons:
- Tremendously boring combat – it revolves around mashing your left mouse button and occasionally dodging an enemy attack or two. It’s so easy even on the highest difficulty that the combat feels like a chore. The final bosses are the same – the mechanics consist of dodging boring attacks and maybe some spell but that’s it. Even the combat in The Witcher 1 is more enjoyable. The spinning sword attack in fun, though.
- Roleplaying? Are you kidding me??? If you call having two available endings to one quest roleplaying, then don’t even try to talk to me. See, you can’t really roleplay in The Witcher 3 – For the most time you have just 2 endings of one quest and they don’t even matter at all! They alter almost nothing in the world and don’t contribute to the ending of the final quest. As of class roleplaying – the only available one is a swordsmaster. There are like five other weapons in the game other than swords and they are weak as heck, so you can’t really use axes or maces, for example. The potions and spells are useless, once you get the hang of the combat (which takes about 40 minutes), so you can’t be a mage or a potionmaster. You can’t be an archer – the crossbow is useless for actual combat and there is no stealth. Sure, you can roleplay as a good guy or a scumbag every once in a while, but that’s just a slight, tiny roleplaying component that does not create a full roleplaying experience by any means!
- Every single character is staggeringly obnoxious and the voice acting is stupidly cringeworthy. Ciri seemed nice at first, but then I realized she’s “the chosen one”, “the one of possession of great, unknown power” – what a cliché... And the godlings – they are nice at least, but their type of fun sucks.
- Items – 90% of the armors make you look like an ♥♥♥. All of the swords are the same, the sets are boring, nothing feels unique.
- The quests are generally very mundane, they usually go like this: “Oy, Witcha’! Can ye help me find me lass? She’s been lost all week! Please, I beg ye, I got some coin, masta’ witcha’!” And then you use your witcher sense to track something down, find a monster and that’s it.
- The story is very simple, boring and clichéd. You need to find someone, you have some difficulties in doing so, then you find that someone and everything is back to normal, woho!
- Stupid, meaningless dialogues.
- Herbalism aspect – there is nothing where you can read up where the herbs you need to get are located, so you just collect everything you find in hope you get what you need. That leaves you with bags full of crap for the rest of the game.
- Mini-tasks: Horse races – kek, brawls – kek (although the last two combatants are funny).

I am sorry to all the hardcore fans, but that’s really how I feel. I might update the review in the future!

Great game!
- The combat is incredibly satisfying, the story and the quests are engaging and interesting, too.
- It doesn't have as in-depth skill system as in Skyrim, but it's still pretty good and fun enough to try different builds.
- Huge meme potential.
- Tremendously buggy!!! The bugs are unbearable. I cannot understand how this game got such a high score in its original state and how Bethesda got away with it. For the love of all that exists, install the Unofficial Patch modes, they will reduce the bugs, but even then there's plenty!
- Runs perfectly at 1440/144fps while heavily modded.

The game is awesome. And it is really an underrated gem that deservers a lot of respect. It captures the street atmosphere perfectly and I am glad to see a lot of my favourite grafitti artists in it. Through the years, I've been quietly following the grafitti scene in the most casual way possible and the game really represents what I expected it to be - a fun and interactive experience with cool characters with nice lore behind them. Sure, the controls are a little clunky as well as the camera movement, but if you get past that, the beat 'em up combat style, the painting and the platforming elements are very satisfying and overall fun and non-repetitive to go through. Along the way you will get to collect a lot of collectibles which adds up to the fun. It gets a little cringeworthy at times, but it's all cool. What I really, really, really do appreciate is the lack of censorship - you will hear words like niggа, fаggot and retаrded at times, without annoying beeps or stars (***) in the subtitles. The soundtrack is nice, too. One of my favourite games, it was a great pleasure completing it.

>Shoot a guy in the head with a sniper.
>His legs explode afterwards, yet his head seems untouched.

10/10, great storytelling!

Great game with amazing voice acting and decision variety, but I just don't get why it is labeled as a story rich game since there is literally zero story in it. Just surviving people and events happening around them which affect their lives in some way, but do not create a major conflict by any means. Remove this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ tag and everything will be perfect!
