Horay! Finally the family car to match my family home at 1313 Mockingbird Lane. Excellent likeness of the nostalgic vehicle. Has many parts that can be used in other theming areas like spooky and western. Excellent pack at a cheap price. Love the new IP stuff. Frontier did a great job. BTW the house blueprint to go with the car can be found at:

With quarterly updates and bug fixes occurring on a continual basis, this game will become the Theme Park Building Game of the Century! But unfortunately, at this time, this game suffers from some GPU usage. You can correct this by limiting about 5000 guests in the park management menu. Planet Coaster is one of the best theme park building games out there and Frontier did an amazing job of putting it together, but it does have a few issues here and there.

As far as building blueprints, it is one of the best games to build pretty much anything you can think of. From Star Ships to X-Wing and Tie Fighters, from Cinderella's Castle to Fantasy Dreams, from Pirates to Main Street, this game has everything you need to build the 'Theme' blueprint ride of your dreams.

However with that said, the stream workshop needs some work. It is somewhat unorganized, and with now over 120,000 thousand items, it can take hours to browse through all the creations to find items your interested in unless you are specific to as what you are looking for in the search engine. I do wish that Frontier had a better way for you to organize the blueprints you download in your game. They do provide a search tool and filters for blueprints which does help. They have upped the blueprint pieces count to 4000 and allowed you to include thrill rides and roller coaster in your blueprints which helps a lot but you still can't save path or queue with your blueprint, although exit and entrances are savable.

The terrain tools are some of the best ever put into a game from sculpturing mountains to creating huge bodies of water with all the waterfalls you want to throw in. The Music and Soundtrack make the game just enjoyable to listen too, not to mention the sound effects from roller coasters speeding by on tracks to plopping building pieces, deserves a sound editing award in itself.

As far as the management side of running the park, this is where the game has issues. First of all the management side is somewhat lacking. The game has functional problems when trying to manage shops, rides, and other guests needs. The staff quitting all the time makes no sense. Having to bump their pay every hour or keep up with training every month is redundant and causes immense frustration. They have added theft for security guards but even that gets beyond pointless as your park gets overrun with guest going amuck. Again some of these issues can be fixed with better optimization.

Building roller coasters and track rides can be fun with the ability to pretty much create any realistic theme park ride out there in the real world. But the lack of rides available is kind of disappointing as it seems some of the rides are just different variances from others.

But if you like the ability to create buildings and scenery lots, then this game allows you the tools to do it and save it as a blueprint. This game has a lot to offer but still needs some updating and further development which will no doubt come in time.

To fully understand and enjoy the game, you will have to spend some time playing it. If you're looking for a theme park builder just for the management side, then this game becomes a question mark and you should probably watch some you-tube videos to decide whether to get it based on that.

If you're looking for theme park builder to recreate your neighborhood theme park, then this game comes pretty close to be the best game to be able to do that. So, even with its flaws and annoyances, this is probably one of those games you should have in your steam game library to play as Frontier improves it over time with better optimization and much needed added content. So for right now, it still gets a 8.5 out of 10 rating even with the small issues it has. I will update this rating when the game gets better content and better optimization.

RCT 2 expands off the base game of RCT and does it in a fun and creative way. Creating buildings of any size and height was a much needed improvement and necessity although it took many hours to create a massive tower. RCT 2 had a fun circus feel to the game when interacting with the peeps and building roller coasters, Creating rides while enhancing the scenery to theme the ride was as much fun as building roller coasters was. Managing the park was basic and at times could get in the way of building an exciting park.

Enhancing the mouse control were a much needed improvement and helped when building a larger park with many roller coasters. Adding the ability to create and add your own objects to the game brought the game play to a new level where gamers could actually get more out of the game by allowing more content options making it a better game overall.

The peep interaction was fun, and created a more fun game experience. Having spent hundreds of hours in game play, this is one of those games that could never get boring unlike other simulation builders. The soundtrack to the game was fantastic and added to the pleasure of playing, often at times, wanting to get you to listen to the sound effects more than the music. The humorous feel to the game put the player in a happy mood ready to craft a park just to hear the peeps happy laughter. The interaction was captivating and provided a fun experience for each and every hour you put into the game. 5 stars out of 5 stars. A very time consuming game because of the fact it was just plain fun to play.

RCT 3 is a major step forward in the RCT franchise and adds so much more to the game that it would be very hard to be bored with this game. Being able to now ride the rides was a much needed necessity and added so much depth to the game itself. The larger park size was enough to create any playground of fun without running out of room for expansion. Bringing forward most of the features that were in the previous title, it still feels very much like and has the touch of a RCT game.

Now with that said, it does have some drawbacks. The cartoonish peeps are just not as vibrant as the little peeps in RCT2. The peep interaction in RCT 2 feels more fun and vibrating. Building roller coasters in RCT 2 felt more fun and puzzling. That's not to say that RCT 3 coasters were dull, because they weren't. they just lacked the circus fun that RCT 2 had.

Creating buildings in RCT 3 had more options and became easier and felt more real. Adding billboards added to the realism of real life parks and made a major difference in aesthetic pleasure. Being able to create your own fireworks show with the Mixmaster was a major step forward and added an extra layer to building a awesome park and helped bring the park alive, something that RCT 2, at times, lacked.

The water and animal expansion packs helped bring the game to full circle, allowing versatility in building any kind of theme park that you could imagine. Being able to create pools was another needed must have that the game deserved and gave the ability to choose what kind of Theme Park you wanted to create from an animal park to just a water park to a coaster haven. RCT 3 is a complete game with three games wrapped into one. There is no question that Frontier Developments brought the series to a new level which gave you the option to never get bored with game. Hours on end, there is no question that RCT 3 is a winner is all aspects and changed the series forever upping the ante on how future versions would be crafted and created. 5 stars out of 5 stars. Highly recommended for die-hard fans of the series.

There is not much I can say about this that already hasn't been said by everyone else. This game is amazing and is the best city building game on the market. It is what all sim city fans have always been looking for and it's absouletly amazing how a handful of staff members can put together something like this and put a AAA title game and a Studio behind it to complete shame.

There is no negative about this game and it can and will encompass hours of your life very easily. The only thing missing from the game is an in-game, in-city development build, terrain editor like RCT3, but there is a mod for that. As a matter of fact, there is a mod for a lot of things in CS. The After Dark expansion is amazing in itself and is a must for fans of the game. This game gets 5 stars out of 5 stars. It doesn't get any better than this.

Early Access Review
I have been trying tp keep up wih this game to see how the game is progressing through its development stages and how the development team has been responding to the users and the issues they have been having while trying to run the software. I hope this review helps other make a educated decision on whether the game is worth purchasing. I am happy to report the following observations and my take on the game, even after playing for hours.

TPS is a must have for any hardcore fan of the Theme Park/Rollercoaster genre. Not only does the game provide a very strong studio editor for creating your own customized realistic Park, it provides the user with a good educational value of roller coaster physics and 3D edited flat rides. You are only limited in this game by your own imagination.

At first glance, the UI looks intimidating, but the staff at Pantera Entertainment have helped users overcome that obstacle very quickly by providing a strong background of how to use documentation included in the game along with a host of how to videos covering everything from building coasters to landscaping your own park. With that said, understanding the UI can quickly become second nature and easily managed after a few times of use. The incorporated Steam Worshop also makes it easy to import custom scenery and rides into the game without leaving the game interface.

The coaster builder will set well with RCT3 fans, as it employees some of the same techniques while adding the ability to easily manipulate the control of creating banked turns and twisted track with the help of track nodes, something that RCTW seems to also be incorporating with their spline based track editor. The track editor also has more features than RCT3 and without a doubt is better suited towards this game giving the user the ability to manipulate the track in every way possible.

Now with all that said, everyone needs to understand that this software is still in the early access program phase and that they may and probally will encounter bugs and crashes due to their computer hardware conflicts and not having updated drivers. But with that thought, I must also say from strong observation, that the development team is doing an excellent job of addressing those issues if the users will report the problems they are having in the forum threads.

Most of the people who are complaining and rating bad reviews are those who won't give the team the time to work out the bugs and put out a completed product that is highly polished. I have been able to play the game on a Windows 7 machine that was not build as a high end gaming outfit, very sucessfully. And although I have encourted a crash or two, I can clearly see the power that this game has that can't be found in other theme park builder games on the market.

Although the game does not concentrate on the financial management of your park, it still ranks among the top best in Theme Park building games to have for fanatics and should be included in anyone's library who enjoyed RCT3 and/or No Limits Roller Coaster Simulation and for those who are interested in creating a very realistic Theme Park.

On a scale from 1 to 5, the game gets 4.5 stars for the power that it has to create any realistic park and for the backup support the team has put into the game and continues to provide for the fan base it has. If it was not for the fact that the game is still development mode, it would carry 5 stars all the way. Bottom line, this game is highly recommended.

So the only question to gamers who are interested in this game, is whether they want to participate in the early access build or whether they want to wait until the game is completely finished. I hope this review helps those who are on the fence deciding on what the game provides and has to offer in the form of Theme Park Simulation building.
