I'm having fun and its been a while where I have enough fun to play a game more than an hour or two at a time. I played for 5 hours straight. Havent done that in like 10 years.

Map design is far better, monsters are fun to fight and there is lots to find which is nice.

This is my lazy review. The game is janky, crashes non stop and it disconnects a lot. The kick system is stupid, it should be vote based as it is abused highly. I've had the room owner/master tk players for their gear and kick if they respond in kind.

The gameplay is the boring kind of repetitive and does not have any sense of uniqueness run to run. Monster Hunter for example, has you do the same thing a lot but every fight is actually unique enough to be fun due to the level of polish. This is just the same dumb hoards coming for you on a slightly different map. I'd think it'd be mroe fun if the bugs and bots were smarter and used strategy against you while being fewer in number. So it takes skill to take them down rather than simple spray and pray.

The weapons are poorly designed imho because you end up using the same few weapons all the time if you wanna get through a map with a team. Shotguns and railguns is pretty much all you need because certain enemies take next to no damage from other weapons. The spear and recoiless rifle are ♥♥♥♥ versions of the railgun with less ammo, harder to acquire ammo, slower reload, need a backpack and possibly a teammate. You can use these weapons for more of a challenge, but it somewhat becomes impossible unless you have competent teammates who work closely together, but good luck finding randoms willing to do that.


The game needed to have testing done before they sold it and I don't think it is worth the price they ask.

Pretty good. Wish it had more boss fights

Great puzzle design the story actually feels continued from the last game and is far more involved. The philosophy is interesting and the characters are consistent and well written. I was actually astonished at how much they put into the story.

I enjoyed the music greatly as each map had its own unique theme. It is a pretty chill game and the puzzles are pretty logical. There are a few where you need to bring objects outside of puzzles that are a bit non nonsensical and you may not think of it.

I could talk a lot about what I enjoy about the game. Though one thing I wasn't big on is placing items on the ground where you need to. It often involves this part that creates a sphere of incluence which can shut off force fields, open gates and activate nodes. It is small, but annoying.

The game does need more performance updates I find as it does not matter my fidelity level, I will always get micro stutters and I don't know why. It occurs more on forest maps

Wish they still made games this good.

This game is awesome and I can't believe I never played the original when I was younger. I love the design of the game the explorationi, how the story is told and the combat.

There is a good variety of enemies who have a pretty good AI at least I think. You can see that some will even take cover to make it harder for you to hit.

It feels nice to have zero hand holding and a variety of game play.

BUY IT!

Lots of fun and I can't say any combat experience, quest or interaction is the same. The number of ways you can approach things is so numerous. I look at youtube clips of other playing and it astounds me the ways some people do some stuff compared to myself. It looks like you could beat this game plenty of times and always finish quests or skip quests to experience different things.

Gotta say I have a lot to learn but I'm learning and i'm enjoying. I imagine you will too.

PS I seen a video of a guy beating all of act one by throwing enemies and their corpses at other enemies

Game is awesome and the setting is awesome. Can't wait for the 2nd game. The gameplay is nice crisp and consistent. This is definitely in my top 5 of this genre.

Easier than the first game and felt a little shorter, but fun and unique in its own way. New mechanics make the game play different enough that I could play these games back to back. I can't say I've bothered to play through a game without going days between playing. Beat both games in 5 days and was very satisfied. If there is a 3rd game I'd buy it right away.

This game reminds me of my childhood and I love it. I've already started the second game and it is even better than the first, but they are unique in their own way and playing the first game gives you more appreciation and understanding for the second. The mechanics work really well together in both games. There is a nice challenge with puzzles, fighting, platforming and using a map.
