Honestly, given that it is a student project and also free, it's actually decent enough.
I played it with some friends for two rounds, we spend around half an hour in it and had a pretty good time all things considered.

The basic gameplay, like shooting and movement, works okay. So does the level design.
It obviously still needs a good amount of polish, for example I would like a bit more feedback while shooting enemies.
None the less, I don't regret trying it out.
