Nothing learned from Helldivers 2. Going down the exact same path because developers just don't know what to do anymore apparently.

Porn games on Steam peaked here and it's been downhill ever since.

Terrible audio mixing, terrible keybinds, terrible framerate issues even on the main menu. Horrendously optimized game that's over a decade old and the greedy devilspawn at Activision who like to drink co-worker flavoured breastmilk still want $100.

This game is so polished and the "out of the box" keybinds are so good that I genuinely would never have been able to tell that this game was stuck in development hell. I want to give the developers a big sloppy kiss on their big bulbous lips.

Out of the box, this game just does not work on modern hardware. It is riddled with issues. Even editing the Windows registry to try and resolve this game's insurmountable amount of issues didn't solve anything. The "Starbreeze" account verification is also horrendously flawed and will frequently fail to authenticate you, meaning you will have to go out of your way to unfollow/refollow the game's store page each time you want to use half of the weapon arsenal. They will ask you to join a Steam Group, follow the Store Page, create an Account, and once they have your data they will still fail to provide a functional service. It is pathetic, and reeks of desperation: "Please join our group, please engage with our community, please love our game!" Make the game functional, and maybe then I'd actually consider it. Instead, keep wasting time working on a sequel nobody asked for, that nobody plays, while this game - the one that people actually do play, continues to rot and degrade with each passing generation of hardware.

wow cool the horses have testicles that shrink in cold weather too bad the actual gameplay (the part that matters) is slow and boring and monotonous and every mission sends you on 30+ minute horseback riding adventures through the exact same desert you've seen for the last 10 hours and even the developers knew this is boring as hell because they literally included a "cinematic mode" that you can toggle which will literally let the game play itself. just make a movie dude there's so much meaningless fluff and filler in this game that's cute when its novel but after you've seen it once it just becomes a slog.

It's a typical "spot the difference" kinda game that despite all the typical unreal jank was actually kinda interesting for the first 30 or so floors. Game falls off really hard after floor 400 or so. Would have enjoyed more weird things happening as the game progresses, and more active threats to deal with as outside of "boss" floors there really isn't any sort of fail-state at all, killing any tension the game could have had.

For what it is, this is okay. Definitely much, much worse shovelware unity games on the market.
