Dying light 2 is an open world zombie survival game in which there is newly added RPG mechanics so every choice you make alters the storyline. Here are the pros and cons :

Pros :
1) Continuation of DL 1 ( Crane is dead if you had played the first part of the game you must have seen what happened to him in the following dlc he gets turned into volatile. Well, some of the characters in there are shown in this game. )
2) Enhanced Parkour ( Parkour has been improved that you will have most fun in the running around and kicking zombies in their faces. Broken billboards, pipes , wall running etc you can almost climb up anything and anywhere)
3) The Chase ( The best fun part is The Chase, at night you if you get spotted by howler you get chased by running zombies and at max level i.e 4 you get volatiles so it is much fun with friends when you run around with them)
4) Breathtaking World ( Pretty much everything is beautifully made and when you look from above it is mind blowing )
5) Atmospheric ( You can hear dogs barking at zombies, zombies knocking at someone's doorstep , people fighting at streets , etc loudly and clearly )
6) RPG Mechanics ( Now there is gear level and territory is marked with level so basically you will get equipments and weapons according to your gear level it will increase with your parkour and combat skills, zombies are also tied with the levels )
7) Side Quests ( These arent no fetch quests, some of these quests are really interesting that will make an impact in the storyline )
8) Side Activities ( Besides side quests there are activities you can do like getting a supply drop, invading a GRE centre, parkour challenge , windmill it is just like a radio tower where you activate it to acquire safe zone etc and these are top notch )
9) Special enemies ( There are special enemies like howler which alerts other zombies , spitter which shoots projectiles at you , bolter which runs like bolt etc )
10) Dynamic Soundtracks ( When you are running around doing parkour track gets intensified when you are killing some zombies track gets replaced it is fun to listen )
11) Infection timer ( You cant roam the streets at night like happily there's a timer on you and it will get replenished as you get into UV rays it is just like crane was having seizures during his runs )
12) Great Optimization ( Really runs well on my 1070 ti, i7 4790k with 16 gb ram gettin 52 fps at average on dx12 on high preset, but beware some of my friends said that on dx11 they get more fps than on dx12 for me it is reversed and some people on steam discussions tab said that it has poor optimizations despite having top notch hardwares )

Cons :
1) Human AI sucks ( Most of the time when I was playing with one of my friends we noticed that Human enemies just target the first guy who they have noticed and attack only that player )
2) Coop Issue ( While playing with friends some friends were experiencing crashes and stuttering during firefights and one friend wasnt able to connect despite doing everything he can to join and he has over 300 friends )
3) Bugs ( While we were gathering supplies at military convoys we killed all of zombies there after a while new zombies appeared outta thin area and they were very close. One time I couldnt activate the quest because the npc was missing and the quest name was sentimental value when I restarted the game the npc appeared. There are also times like where AIs get stuck in encounter their bodies remain but you cant touch them. )
4) Crashes ( I dont know if its me but when I press shift + tab to open steam overlay to chat with my friends it just crashes to desktop but only after 2 hrs )
5) No text chat in coop ( I mean first dying light had it so why is it not in here also there's no key binding for voice chat so when you connect your mic your voice automatically gets into the game )
6) Sprinting ( The animation really looks like the player is just jogging )
7) Cosmetics ( Outfits and gears you wear will represent your player but seriously this has first person camera so its worthless at least for me and even if you want to show to your friends your friends will probably dont care about it as you and will be doing activities and stuffs and in cinematics you will still have first person camera )

Conclusion : Buy it already if you like hardcore parkour and combat, if you want to play with friends I think you should wait for a few patches. I think it is huge improvement from dying light 1. It will totally get stale and boring fast if you complete all of the story missions as soon as possible so dont do it.
