This game is just flat-out fun! You can quickly hop in a game or two and then be on with your day. Love it!

To keep it simple: this game is a blast. I think often times we lose the focus of games: and that is to just have fun. Doom excels in this as it's simple, easy to hop into, and a bloody good time.

The game is everything you have loved about the previous Dark Souls, and more! The soundtrack is amzing, and the zones can be horrifying and beautiful at the same time. As a long time fan since Demon Souls... this is definitelt my favorite in the series. 10/10

As of 03-05-2016 I don't feel I could recommend the game. If Steam had a "sideways thumb" button I would use that as I find the game to be mediocre at best.

Cons:
-Poorly optimized. I have above the specs needed to play this game but still get lots of framerate lag.
-US servers only... even though I am in the US this is still problematic for others and not mentioned.
-The combat is shallow, and that's a shame considering the game relies so heavily on this.
-It's a bit slow, and what I mean by that is you may run into extended periods of time without seeing anyone.
-Longevity. The popularity of this game has come from streamers on Twitch.tv, but honestly their is not much incentive to keep playing besides pieces of cosmetic gear.

There are many pros to be considered:
-The game is generally fun, and intense when you run into someone else.
-The crafting mechanic is simple and fun!
-Hopping into a match is fairly quick and matches only last 20 minutes.
-Their are endless perk combinations to suit your playstyle (I'm liking the stealthy, knife/sword-based ninja perks to get the jump on enemies. I feel like a ninja).
-The whole atmosphere has "The Hunger Games" vibe and I haven't left a match without feeling on the edge of my seat the whole time. Not a lot of games can do that.

My review might change but right now if you're on the fence about it I would wait and see how the game progresses through alpha. The game has a lot going for it, and is a lot of fun, but a combination of poor optomization and being a bit shallow doesn't warrant a purchase just yet. Still, I'm staying hopeful for the game and keeping my eye out on how it progresses.

Beautiful visuals, challenging platforming, and a story that will make you feel all sorts of feels if you're an emotional wreck like me.! The soundtrack alone was enough to win me over. I'm also a sucker for great soundtracks, and Ori and the Blind Forest is right up there with games like "Journey" for me. Huge props to the studio behind the music. HIGHLY recommend this game!

Beautiful, immersive, shocking, and clever. This has been one of the most memorable games I have played in a long time.

This game is very cute and creative. I was sold when I made myself into a weiner and flew away into the sun on a unicorn.

Oh, the puzzles could be a little more difficult. Only complaint.
