From a scary standpoint, the game still holds up in late 2022! However, the gameplay is a bit too simplistic for me. Still, I can recommend this due to the tension building and the surprisingly horrifying creatures. It introduces unique mechanics too which prevents the game from being too stale, but it's just not for me.

VR Review: Made by one student dev, Stranger is an extremely frightening and tense game. If you've read the description and are intrigued, give it a try. I had to take a break because it had my anxiety through the roof.

Charming artwork, great soundtrack, smooth gameplay. Combined rouge-like elements and resource management for an addicting gameplay loop.

The game has a lot of content, but end-game seems to be lacking from what reviews say. That doesn't mean more awesome content won't be added later, but this appears to be more of a 13+ hour campaign experience.

The game is slowed down considerably, it's missing tons of features from the beta, local/practice mode characters are still locked, it's 15 USD for each character (or an extremely long grind), and the camera zoom is awful. How did they have every opportunity to make a great game and make it so bad?

Takes all of the greatness from MH:W but adds fantastic mobility options. No more getting stunlocked into oblivion assuming you have a wirebug charge handy.

One of my favorite fighting games. I've spent easily over 100+ hours on the PS4 version. Very accessible to beginners, fun characters, graphics are cool, and the music rocks.

Could be fun, but their is far too much jank and unpolish. Battle consist of climbing up poorly rendered rooftops and fighting on them. That's really it. Game will be dead in less than a month.

This game has no right to be this fun. If you loved the first one, you'll love this. If you've never played the original and enjoy roguelikes, then you will thoroughly enjoy the charm, replay value, and overall fun this game brings.

The game almost feels like a dream. Almost. Glad it came out before WW3.
