Genuinely adore this game, it feels like an MMO but with actual vertical movement, I don't feel stuck on an invisible grid and it's an amazing feeling, I can't wait to see this game grow and thrive, and it's an amazing experience for anyone who loved a class like Demon Hunter in wow, movement and reaction feels fluid, and theirs lots of secrets and fun Easter eggs spread throughout even at this early stage, I am adoring this game so far!

I can't for the life of me fathom what sort of balance there is supposed to be on high level missions for raise the flag, it feels impossible was playing on level 7, and I've cleared helldive before, and the bots just were completely unrelenting, this needs to be fixed, I've played a ton of this game and loved it but if that's in the game like that I can not recommend it.

I don’t want to suggest against Leximan, but I have some strong feelings about it that I hope will be addressed. The game has charm, and I played through the entire game on Steam Deck without issues. While this game might not be for everyone, it has me looking forward to more from this developer. If you're interested in my detailed thoughts, I encourage you to read on.

Leximan has potential, but it's held back by a lot of rough edges. I unlocked 22 achievements in about 12 hours, including the "true ending," but missed a few along the way. The characters are charming, but some rough parts detract from the experience. As many others have pointed out, the core spell mechanic feels undercooked. There are often very few, almost underwhelming, options for spell combinations. Many combinations that seem like they should work simply don’t—like how "Fire Blast" works, but "Darkfire" does nothing, despite being a logical choice.

The game is also filled with little secrets that don’t really lead anywhere, which was disappointing. The prison section was particularly frustrating. I feel like this game could benefit greatly from updates and expanded mechanics. I’d be happy to see more ideas from these developers in the future, but I really hope they take the community's input to heart and improve on these aspects. Also, for the love of God, fix the mail mini-game or just change it to a text encounter—that was by far the most painful part of the entire game for me.

Currently one of my favorite games on steam the progression, the item stacking the various characters and unlockables in each update feel so fun, I haven't been this engaged with a game in a long time!
