Managed Democracy wins again.

I've been a fan of Dying Light for a long time, and it pains me to see the direction it has taken post-Tencent takeover. They've introduced microtransactions, a feature that wasn't necessary and certainly not asked for by the community.

What's worse is the "generosity" of giving away 500 DL Points for free, a gesture that falls flat when you realize it's barely enough to get anything of value in the in-game store, pushing players to spend more to actually use these points effectively. It feels less like a gift and more like a tactic to encourage further spending.

This move feels predatory and has significantly dampened my enthusiasm for Dying Light 2. I find myself missing the good old days before microtransactions were a part of the Dying Light universe. It’s a real shame to see a beloved game take this path. I hope Techland reconsiders this strategy to maintain the trust and loyalty of their player base.

Honestly brought the game as a joke not expecting much but was an incredible experience start to finish.
