very bad

Dead Island 1 is way better than this.

Cons
- way too much enviromental hazards like electric water and fuel tanks
- no car
- too many map changes, smaller maps
- way shorter
- it tries to be funny but its really not
- non appealing characters and NPCs
- card system sucks, give back skill tree
- no specialization of characters
- cards have too much text and it's difficult to identify them from the picture
- zombie respawn almost instantly
- immune zombies good on paper bad in game
- zombies are way tankier
- you are constantly making new weapons
- world is empty
- go exploring, everything is closed, continue main quest oh now the door can open.
- way too many locked objects all with different keys and the keys randomly distributed
- requires you to go back to old places but really you don't want to.
- side quests are event based and not interesting, NPCs don't give you side quests.
- money is useless you will always have more than enough
- enemies scale with you similar to witcher 3, a zombie is 5 level higher it's a skull and basically impossible to beat, 4 lvl higher, no skull and it's easy.
- quick time events
- everything is "get that circuit breaker"
- quests are all the same
- fuse mechanic sucks as you can only buy them limited from traders and if you run out you have to go back which you will not do
- in weapon wheel pressing a or d changes weapon in this slot
- menu does not feel good
- weapon change with scrollbar is extremly slow
- the most grounded character is the one you would not expect it from (bruno)
- respawn system is way too op, spawn nearby, zombie live stays same, full live, zero loss.
only in quests you restart the zombie wave part.

Pro

- looks good
- feels good

DLC is good.
only bad point is that it is again very easy to miss NPC quests.

People who complain about difficulty, how did you beat Mohg?

great game but it's dead

if you're a large enough group (6; 2 sharks, 4 divers) you can try to play it with friends and or with bots.

too expensive for what it is

good game, unit cards are an interesting addition. i hope they stay.
