No More Room in Hell 2 Early Access
  • Objective markers—the first game did not hold your hand and make everything easy for you, by having a giant floating way point to each objective,

  • Instead, players had to rely on the compass (which was at least not as excessive as these objective markers), exploration among other things,

  • Quick time event zombie evade feature—this is again something that deviates from the first game, but not in a way that is beneficial to the game, only serving to make it easier for casual players and lessen the stakes,

  • Too much user interface, a stark contrast from the first game, which was very minimal in this regard,

  • The absolute worst part, is that there is literally a cursor/aiming reticle, which is a stark contrast from the first game, and something better removed to be No More Room in Hell,

  • There are no zombie children—they need to be added as they were an important part of the first instalment; players would not be asking for this feature if it were not already a major part of the first game to begin with,

  • Not a fan of player names above heads, but just like the first game, there may be an option to have this omitted such as with Nightmare mode, which removed that feature,

  • Add infection, as it is not No More Room in Hell without it,

  • Add a suicide option,

  • Add the ability to customise characters as promised,

  • Refine the stamina system,

  • Add community servers, as they will allow for further customisation options, creation of unique communities which will essentially keep the game alive, <…>,

  • Add a map editor, giving players the ability to create custom maps,

  • Make it possible to play the game solo rather than being forced to play with others,

  • Fix crashes (happened mid-game multiple times, others report their entire PC crashing with the game),

  • Add specific, detailed ammo types rather than general, non-specific ammo such as ‘light’, 'medium' and ‘heavy’,

  • Fix issues with lag/synchronisation,

  • Fix invincible zombies,

  • Improve zombie spawns, as my play through zombies would spawn right in front of me sometimes after being killed,

  • Either remove melee attack queuing or add a button to cancel the next attack,

  • Add friendly fire mode even if other players are not infected,

  • Enable team killing like the first game, when a player is infected—preferably even if they are not,

  • Fix performance issues,

  • Fix zombie movement.


Conclusion
If this game is to become a true successor to No More Room in Hell, rather than being a sequel in name only, the team should revisit key points that made the first instalment so well-made, and to even play the game to gain that understanding.
