Overcompensating - the game.

Ah ♥♥♥♥, here we go again..

Vampire what?

Yeah it's a must-buy IMO if you like 40k and lots of violence.

Finally people coming back to this game during the sale and seeing it for what it is: a really good game.

So here we are! Our beloved 2x gUInNEsS wRLd ReCOrD hOldAR finally lost enough fanbase that they got forced to share their revenue with Steam. SIKE!

The masters of ignoring problems and finding workarounds, WG, found a solution for that too! The real veteran money spenders got locked out of Steam with a "technical limitations" excuse. Nobody who values their time and money will switch to a new account on Steam and so they'll continue spending on their old accounts at no loss for WG, while at the same time, WG will gain a small percentage of fresh Steam users who'll stick around that wouldn't have played the game otherwise. WIN-WIN.

They literally found a way to tap into Steam money without any risk. And if the negative reviews get out of hand and start damaging WG with people not spending on the game on Steam, they're more likely to just remove it and say something like "Our loyal fanbase preferred playing on our own launcher/platform instead of Steam" rather than actually listening and fixing their problems. That's who WG is, a wannabe russian version of EA who based themselves in Cyprus for tax benefits.

Shame.

EDIT: There's a way to get Steam to run the regular WG launcher/game just as it would the official Steam port(and not as a non-Steam game). It's in the guides for those who want to do so and it is the way I'm currently playing the game. The catch is you'll need to keep both copies installed and every game update will probably mess it up and need to be redone. I want for WG to get it done officially so this is the way I will be playing the game from now on.
