Sony buckled. That's more than enough reason to recommend the game.

This is a beautiful game, both artisticily and in Story. However, before purchasing please be aware that the choices you make will event to very little. The story will always play out the same with your actions having a surface level effect that won't change either of the 2 endings. That being the ending where you survive and the ending where you die.

While the game advertises choice, it forces your choice in key parts of the story that lead to the overall plot line. I would have appreciated the ability to make a different choice and lead to a different outcome, especially after it's revealed that the wedding, the trial and the first battle will end the same way and the actions you take prior will have absolutely no impact on the overarching plot, and even once you know all of the secrets that are revealed at the end, there is no way to make decisions with that in mind, your hand will always be forced into one of few mildly different endings and the weight of your decisions won't actually lead to anything. And I know this, because after completely the game once, I checked the achievements on google and saw that the remaining 15 achievements were basically achievements for making certain choices that would be considered the "bad choice"

Get this game if you have cash to throw around and it appeals to you, but just make sure you know what you are getting and know not what to expect.
