by far my favorite game in the series. the side quests are much better than the ones in soc and cs (and they feel more rewarding too). it has a smaller map than soc and cs but i think that's a good thing since it doesn't take forever to get from place to place. it even has a fast travel system that works well. the gunplay feels really good too, much better than the previous games. instead of your shots disappearing into thin air they actually hit what you're aiming at. the story is incredible as well. my favorite part was when you formed a squad with zulu and a few other people that you choose and travel through a tunnel to pripyat . (note: i didn't install any mods other that prp)

you should totally get this game.

as much as i love the stalker games this one is awful. the enemies for some reason have an unlimited amount of grenades and throw them at you with perfect accuracy. oh, and they explode almost immediately so good luck dodging that. the final part of the game was so difficult to complete and the ending sucked. i understand that its a prequel but c'mon.

if you're a hardcore masochist then this game is perfect for you, but if you aren't then don't get it.

even though there are numerous bugs that can be extremely annoying at some times it's still an amazing game. if you decide to get this game i would recommend installing the zrp mod, it fixes a lot of bugs and doesn't change much apart from bugs.

also, be prepared to die a lot.
