A very norwegian game. Highly recommended if you want to experience acute PTSD (Post-Troll Stress Disorder) or overcome your crippling arachnophobia.

Perfect game for those who like incredibly tough and complex puzzle games. Make no mistake, this game has very little to do with actual chemistry - aside from the names of the atoms and molecules, as well as some basic concepts like bonds, this is MUCH more of a puzzler than any kind of chemical engineering guide. Nobody builds molecules one by one - unless they play this game.

Also, amazing music. The OST is worth purchasing.

No matter what your opinion is on wave-based shooters, there is no doubt that Killing Floor provides some of THE best gunplay in the entire history of video games. That alone is a good enough selling point to shell out a bit of cash on it during a sale. Add to that interesting and varied enemies, great maps that (mostly) prevent camping in one spot, a pretty steep difficulty curve (which is good for 6-player coop), constant updates ever since the game was released, and hilariously over-the-top British voice acting.

But Tripwire, I swear to god, if you make one more ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ purchaseable weapon pack...

Probably the best Civilization game, in my opinion. Just the right mix of complexity (which was overwhelming in Civ 2-3) and convenience (intelligent worker automation and tile management REALLY help lategame). The religion is an interesting mechanic, and I like that unlike Civ 5, every religion provides different benefits, so you need to weigh your choices. The expansions improve it even further, and it's hard to find a better modding community. Pick up Fall from Heaven 2 and Fall Further if you like dark fantasy in your video games.
