My new fave action RPG of all time, my only complaint is there isn't more of it, whats here is amazing, but I want to play for even longer and face bigger and badder beasties. I'm basically capped out is 65 hours, which I mean is still a pretty great endorsement if you ask me.

Yeah I'm sorry but all the problems really do kinda ruin what is on a fundamental level the best Payday

Always online is absolutely asinine, I don't care if people hack their saves or whatever the reason was, its a co op game, there are no pay to win elements and there is frankly no reason for it, it simply makes it worse for legit paying players

Why do I have to matchmake to play solo??? Once again a baffling decision

Yep as other reviews have said, the UI really does suck, you get stuck in UI traps and mazes constantly

The progression just isnt fun, I mean sure it does the job, but I myself just play for fun, not to be some SUPERMEGAMLGPROGAMERZZZ and the progression system means at a certain point ill just stop levelling up and basically be stuck forever unless I go out of my way to complete a bunch of weird challenges

Then there are some smaller things that are honestly just kinda odd are missing, the safe house, crime net, no pre-planning and more

The worst part is, the ground level of this Payday is INCREDIBLE
Gun play: Fantastic
Music: Fantastic
Level Design: Fantastic
New Stealth: Fantastic
Mini-games when unlocking stuff: Fantastic

So what does this mean;
Well really it means the game right now ruins its own potential with a bunch of stupid stuff surrounding the main game play.
Most likely a year from now all of the above will be fixed and the game will be great, and at that point ill swap this review to positive. Overkill have shown with PD2 that they will listen and fix it but its honestly just disappointing that after all they have learned from 10 years of PD2 that they came outta the gate with such a mess.

*sigh*

The Ultimate Dragon Quest. Make no mistake this is a Dragon Quest game Inside and out, everything that defines the series is back in full force here.
In XI the visuals have been taken to the modern day while not neglecting the systems, many quality of life improvements have done wonders and made the game better than ever.
The story is your classic Dragon Quest adventure it doesn't reinvent the wheel, but it doesnt need to. The characters are some of the best written and acted in the series and beautifully carry the experience to the end.
The music is fantastic however it is a shame its not orchestrated this time round.
Overall Dragon Quest XI is a new high for the series and must play for veterans and newcomers alike

Simply breathtaking in every regard, from the story to the combat to the soundtrack. If you play one game all year, make it this one.

OMD!U had a rocky start. The first part of the game was devloped to be more like a MOBA with OMD traps, orcs and heroes. It was lacking refinement and was nothing like old OMD.

However, as time went on the team implemented the survival mode back into the game, with this, a new chapter of OMD!U began. Right now survival mode is very close to its former glory with loads of maps designed specificly with the OMD style and system in mind, with more on the way! the PvP MOBA mode had undergone massive changes and now stands as a strong contender in the market with many unqiue OMD features. The only thing I would say is that the hero roster right now is quite small however this is becase many chracters were removed to be reworked. Real dedication on the devlopers part.

Overall OMD!U is shaping up to be a fantastic game and in time the survival will return to the loftly heights of OMD 2

Absolutely fantastic game, 100s of hours of gameplay almost monthly updates with loads of free new content. Some of the best co-op gameplay I've ever played, and an unbelievable soundtrack! DLC is great and fairly priced and you don't even have to buy it! All DLC heists can be played online for free buying them simply gives you the ability to host them.

The community is unfortunately very entitled, yes the developers have made mistakes, they have said things then taken very long amounts of time to deliver. However the developers do listen and it's very clear they are trying their best. They are extremely generous with free content. I fully support Overkill and with them all the best.

If you have any interest in tower defence you should already own this.
Combining 3rd person shooter and Tower defence, Orcs Must Die 2 allows constantly exciting gameplay with tactical thought like no other.
The hordes of enemies overrun the screen with countless numbers as they run through carefully constructed death trap mazes and meet grizzly doom while you blast them away.
Tons of traps, weapons and everything else each with a unique upgrade tree which when attempting to max out every item can take days. (I’m not even close with 33 hours)
Comparable only to Dungeon Defenders, Orcs Must Die 2 is quite simply a masterpiece.
