This game was great but then they updated it and made it worse!

The QOL additions are good but they broke the throwing for serving, now it seems there is a 50/50 chance that instead of the ball leaving your hand with correct momentum, it either flies up at speed or drops to the floor like a stone. My opponents don't seem to be having this issue so maybe it is an issue exclusive to the rift S, but I've tried troubleshooting and can't resolve the issue. RIP fun game

It's a pretty fun open world with some hilarious stupid interactions and over-done rag dolls, plus some of the most aggressive eagles ever witnessed, and not to mention the f*cking honey badgers.

Story so far is not bad and the acting is pretty good.

This is my favourite Battle Royale. 500 hrs in PUBG, Don't play fortgay.

I'm a fan of this game for it's fast-paced first person action, as I come from an arena shooter and counter strike backround. I really appreciate the developers efforts to make this game for competitive gamers. It's risky, but could be rewarding and I really hope the best for them and this game.

The game isn't without it's flaws, coming into early access with the expected list of lauch hitches. The devs were quick to fix any immediatly game breaking isssues and also fast to iron out some exploits, bugs and performace issues within the first 2 weeks after release.

I wouldn't be too worried about the "low" player numbers as finding a game is always quick in the solo queue and it sounds like the developers are aiming for a slower growth trajectory, with plans to push marketing once the game is mostly bug free.

I'm looking forward to watching this game grow and trying to compete with the establised BR games.

PROS
Great netcode/hit detection (South African player)
Great graphics
More skill based than it's competitors
Less randomness than it's competitors

CONS
Needs a fairly beefy PC
Only 50 player matches (plans for 100)
Proximity voice chat still disabled
