Cheaper than crack

Fun, but the price for the add-ons/dlcs/season pass is outrageous

This is more like a Persona game than Musou/Dynasty Warriors outside of Combat. Even the combat incorporates elements from the original game really well, with All Out Attacks, elemental weakness, and technicals.

It's a great game but I really think you should play the original Persona 5/Royal first when (if?) it gets ported...

Don't read or watch anything about this game, just play it blind, right now.

With all the hype and glowing reviews from fans of the Persona series, I figured I should point out a few things.

For newcomers: Keep your expectations in check. It is a PS Vita game originally on PS2 so the graphics, characters models, and some gameplay/battle design choices may feel outdated. The pacing at the beginning of the game can also be a turn-off for some people since it's basically 2 hours of cutscenes with very minimal interactivity. 2 hours is also past the refund-time so beware.

The game is a JRPG through and through. It is extremely long and pacing is not always the best.

If you can look past that, and willing to give this game a chance, I think you'll have a fantastic time. Soak in the small town atmosphere, hang out with friends, solve mysteries, and kick ass!

And if you think this kind of game's not for you, that's also fine. I just think with the $20 price tag everyone should at least give this game a try.

I didn't expect I would like this game so much. At the start I didn't care much for Meve and co. But what a journey this game was.

Lots of people have already said this but, the voice acting and writing is superb. The Storyteller, Meve, Reynard, Gascon, etc. You can feel their despair, spirit, playfulness, etc when they talk. Loved it.

The choices you have to make are quite interesting. I did lots of evil stuff in my playthrough, some I regret, some I don't, but nothing is black and white as it seems. You'll be mostly picking one evil in favor of another. Lots of the choices I picked came back to bite me in the ass later on. This is why the game's good. You're a queen so you have to make lots of difficult choices and live with the outcome whether you like it or not.

I played with the normal difficulty and the battles are mostly too easy except the puzzles with special deck and rules. I believe playing it at the highest difficulty can solve that problem but some combinations are just too overpowered that I doubt it'll feel any different except in the early-mid game. The standard faction battles feel like a chore in the later chapters, but I do find some enjoyment in crushing my opponents so it's not really that bad.

Lastly I have to give praise to the soundtrack. It's exhilarating. It's memorable. It's fantastic. That feeling when Meve makes her speech to her army to battle. Then the music kicks in and you begin your fight on the battlefield..

Meve is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ badass. 9.5/10.

LOTS of fun even in it's current state. It still needs a lot of work but that's obvious because the game is still in Early Access. It's playable, just not a lot of content and players. I can only see 2 servers when finding a game. But it's still growing and soon it will get more players.

Right now it only has 3 game modes: Free for All, TDM and Capture the Sphere. CtS is like Capture the flag gamemodes in other games, but this time it's a sphere and you have to pull it with your gun to the goal. I like it, but it has balancing issues. Can be fixed by maybe adding a respawn timer and make the sphere move faster.
The game only has 6 maps and 5 guns right now, but they all vary.

Can't go wrong with this game, it still has a lot of room for improvement and it will be updated frequently.
If you want to try the game, see how gravity works in this game and whatnot, go for it! It takes time getting used to it, but it's really fun!
