Difficulty: Nightmare

This is my favourite first person shooter this generation hands down. It improves on everything Doom 2016 did and makes it 10x more intense. I love the movement in this game, once you activate the movement rune there is nothing stopping you! You can glide around the arena shredding demons! The double jump and dash work hand in hand with the meaty sounding weapons and the grappling hook of the super shotgun to give you the most satisfying way to kill anything in any first person shooter out there.

I simply love the enemy variety and how you have to balance ammo and health while smashing some demon faces in. The glory kills are so well made and I like that it is based on the angle you come from. I see people complaining about the Marauder but he was only hard the first few times after which he was actually very easy.

The story is also very interesting and I recommend diving into the lore through the many YouTube videos out there, but as expected, is not the main focus of Doom.

The visuals are absolutely stunning and the sense of scale is conveyed very well, especially the Earth stages show the mass destruction caused by the demonic invasion.
Performance is top notch, with my GTX 1080 at Ultra Nightmare graphical settings I was getting above 90 fps pretty consistently at 1440p. It very rarely dipped below 60 but that was only for a few seconds and from my knowledge happened only twice. (Once in a Nekravol arena and once in the final boss battle where I got surrounded and died.)

Last but definitely not least is Mick Gordon's masterpiece of a soundtrack. It is so visceral sounding, going from some ambient humming to thumping guitars, truly masterclass work.
The multiplayer is not too great, I like playing as the Marauder but the servers are absolute trash. It feels horrible to play because it feels like I'm on 800 ping 75% of the time.

I 100% recommend this game to anyone who likes arcade shooters and action games. It's a 10/10 hands down. I love this game, LOVE IT! I can't wait for the DLC expansions.

Tl;dr Amazing arcade shooter, a must buy! This is my "Game of the Decade"!

Early Access Review
If you like Pokémon, you'll most likely enjoy this. This is basically Pokémon for PC except all the battles are 2v2 and the game in general is harder, for example, you meet 3x more trainers on pathways between places meaning you'll have to manage your resources well.
Another thing I like about this game is their PP system. In Pokémon, if your monster is out of PP you can't attack, but in this game you can use any attack but if it uses more PP than you have you'll take damage proportional to that. This adds a whole new dynamic which makes battles better. especially since they are all 2v2.
I'm done with two Dojos (Gyms) at the time of this review and I found them pretty challenging and fun. (You need to grind your Temtem's level a bit though...)

Overall, the game has good polish from what I have played, decent performance, good visuals, great K&M and Controller support, solid Pokémon like gameplay that I can only see get better from this point, competent writing and some great Temtem designs. (Kalabyss I'm looking at you!)
You should buy it if you don't mind playing a half complete game (in terms of content) while waiting for updates and enjoy playing Pokémon.

(Opinions are subject to change as the game moves through it's Early Access cycle.)

Great multiplayer! The nostalgia holds up :)
Single player is as good as you remember but now looking better and running amazing at 60!
PS: Unlocked framerate is horrible.

DLC is an absolute blast! Lots of content and well worth the 8$ it costs in my country.

One of the best games out there right now! Great loot, fun quests and half decent PvP
I bought both the DLCs but it has a ton of content even for New Light players. It is very grindy, but that's where the game shines, the gunplay and the sheer variety of guns makes the grind fun. The feeling of getting an exotic after working through a whole bunch of quests is simply amazing! My favourite exotic quest was the one to get the Outbreak Perfected, had a blast with my friends doing it.

Pros:
Amazing community (Use the LFG Discord for Destiny)
Great Gameplay loop
Great Gunplay
Amazing soundtracks (Especially the Whisper of the Worm quest)
Great movement
Wide variety of builds
Amazing graphics and set pieces
Runs great
Lots of loot
Deep story

Cons:
Story isn't explained properly to newer players
Some annoying quests here and there

The game constantly crashes. This isn't a review of the game as such but a review of the state its in. I constantly have to deal with GW502 errors and after the latest "patch" the campaign stopped working and crashes giving me the dreaded GW502 error. I will edit this review if and when they fix the constant crashing. Otherwise I'm enjoying the game a lot, sadly I can't recommend this crash fest to anyone.

EDIT: Game hasn't crashed on me even once in the past day and a half and I've been playing a lot of it. I'm almost done with Act 3 and I must say, the story and gameplay are absolutely top notch along with the amazing performance. The guns are super satisfying, the environments are amazingly detailed and look stunning. The texture work is great for the most part. (Ultra textures recommended if your GPU can handle it.)
I love the characters and writing, it's very well done and is rarely bad.
I know people don't like the semi-open world skiffing part, but I like it as it offers a breather between intense combat. The controls for the skiff are decent enough.
There are some weird technical bugs and glitches here and there but they do not detract from the amazing game. My favourite guns in the game are hands down the Claw and the Overkill. I love how wonky the claw is as it is basically a scrap heap put together by the locust to make the gun. I like act 3 more than act 1 and 2 so we'll see how act 4 is. Jack is so well done too, it makes the fights so dynamic as I place a shock trap, make Jack get a Marza and burst a drones head open with it. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ amazing!
Exploration isn't too deep but satisfactory. Upgrading Jack is very satisfying.
I haven't played much of the PvP part but the Escape mode is fun with friends.
I will come back to this review after I'm done but for now it is definitely a recommendation. If the game crashes for you, you can always refund it.
EDIT: Well I just finished the game after a long time and the story is pretty darn good and it is a very cinematic experience with some amazing set pieces. Definitely recommend it.

Specs:
GTX1080
i5 8600
16GB RAM
Game is on a 7200RPM HDD

This is a huge leap compared to the Xbox One and X textures that look worse than some games from 2011. Uses 4.6GB of VRAM at 1440p with everything maxed out. This will work with a 6GB 1060 which is great news :)
