Unplayable, literally stutters every 2 seconds. Tried all the fixes, doesn't do ♥♥♥♥. Stay away from this dumpster fire of a game.

Can't run this game at even 30 frames at times with a GTX 1080 on Ultra and the game looks like something from my old PS3. If you buy this game, buy it if you like the story and can bare with sub 60 frames. Pathetic port, but apparently a decent game, the only thing keeping me from refunding this. I'm used to sub 60 (and even 20 frames from my GT 210 days) so I can somewhat get over that, but for most people it can be a major turn off and hence, at full price, DO NOT buy this game. Got it for 2$ on sale.

EDIT: Uninstalled the game and reinstalled, runs at 60-70 fps with upscaling disabled, still not acceptable but atleast playable.Too early to review the game so I'll make it a positive review, if I get around to finishing the game or atleast getting a little deeper into the game I'll update the review.

Let me start this off by saying that this game has quickly become one of my favourites, I simply can't get enough of it. It's just such a good game and is worth picking up at full price, heck I would've coughed up 60$ for it. It has all the DLC from the Xbox One but lacks the multiplayer. Surfing around the city is by far one of the mosty satisfying things I've done in a game in a while. The gunplay with the controller (Do not use mouse and keyboard for this game.) is pretty good, the variety of weapons makes it a blast. I try to use all the weapons to get them all leveled up equally but I tend to prefer the AR weapons over the one shot ones.
You need to keep moving and skating to keep up the pace as the base speed of your character is really slow to encourage this. This is one of the few games which has made me laugh out loud at the absurdity of everything. From a limbless troop master to role-playing apocalypse survivors this game is packed with crazy sh*t.
The missions start off slow but they pick up their pace fast. Do not use the fast travel option, just surf to where you want to go. The game is on the easier side but some missions are challenging and might require a few tries to find a way to beat them.
There is a good variety of enemies like the OD (Zombies), Fizzco Robots and Scabs (Hoomans).

A few cons:
Don't really like the "defend the fort" levels, though this is just a personal opinion.
Things pop into view at even medium to short distances which is a remnant of the Xbox version.
Game doesn't seem to be using my GPU too well, 70%-85% at 1080p and 99% at 1440p.
CPU is at 50-60% utilisation so it is not a CPU bottleneck. This results in similar framerates between the two resolutions. This might be driver related, as the game just came out, we'll see if Nvidia pushes out a Game-ready update for it.
Mouse and keyboard controls are terrible, if you don't have a controller wait till they add proper mouse and keyboard support. Apparently theyr'e working on it as I write this review.

Great game, great movement, no ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Every arcade shooter lover must play. Rip & Tear!

EDIT: If you are half decent at shooters play it on Nightmare. Trust me. it truly is the ultimate DOOM experience!

Got this for free through Humble Bundle, and according to me this is the best freebie they've given out. All the guns, including the pistols feel heavy. I am generally not a huge fan of third person shooters but this game really showed me how third person shooters should be done, if only Fortnite's gunplay was like this..

The area with the jet pack was an absolute blast. (EDIT: The second area with the jetpack was also an absolute blast, hope there are more levels and longer levels with jetpacks later on in the game!) Just remember, while you have the jetpack on, conserve ammo and smash everything to bits.

Been playing this all day today and haven't had a single moment that wasn't fun. The melee weapons (Especially the axe and hammer!) are a joy to use, slashing through orks has never been this much fun! (I like you Shadow of Mordor but this is just so much more satisfying!)
The melee combat reminds me of darksiders a lot, which is a great thing in my opinion though I can see some people finding this repetitive.

Tried the multiplayer and got absolutely destroyed, all the players who got it for free through humble are playing it but there are some seasoned players too who destroy the lobby.
The graphics are great, especially for a 2011 game. The artstyle has helped the game age really well. Only real gripe with the graphics are the extremely muddy low resolution textures up close. (Remnants of the Xbox 360 and PS3 days!)

The game runs at above 144 fps 99% of the time and never dips below 100 on my 1050 laptop at 1080p Max.

Grab it right now for free or get it on sale, though I must say 20$ for this game might actually be worth it! The singleplayer alone makes this game worth it.

Literally unplayable. Stutters when saving or while picking up stuff. (Even at 800x600 Low settings)
It also stutters at certain locations when turning the camera or simply walking. Tried everything recommended in the discussions but nothing has worked. Adaptive Vsync does not help but makes it 10x worse for me. It started with minor stutters here and there but as soon as I reached the jungle part it was literally unplayable.

If I have very little time in the game, you're reading the review just after I started playing this version (I played it on the 360 a few months ago.)

I love this game, yes, it's very hack and slashy but hey if that's your cup of tea, you'll love it. The combat has weight to it and it just feels fluid. Story is great (Very linear though, so if you don't like that this ain't for you.), voice acting is honestly one of the best out there. Play this with a controller, it ain't bad on keyboard and mouse but the controller is more comfortable imo for hack and slash games where aim plays little to no role. The graphics have been touched up and you have a variety of options, the game runs great so if you have a decent enough rig you should be able to max it out.
Might get repetitive after an extended play session so I recommend playing it in short bursts. The camera might screw you over a few times but hey, it doesn't really take away from the experience. This comes bundled with the original version, this version is better in almost every way. (Except for the occasional voice sync problems.)
Get this on sale, I picked it up in my local shop for 120 Rs. which is about 2 dollars US. Get it during a sale since it's an older game. It is available on ♥♥♥ for cheap but try not to buy it there as the devs get screwed over.

8/10 (9 if you can deal with the audio issues or don't have them for some reason.)

Bought 1.6. got this and deleted scenes. Nothing to complain about, so yeah...

I got banned on a server for cheating when all I was doing was aimbotting and radar hacking. Back in the day nobody could figure out until I got VAC banned. What a trash game.
