great game that takes me back to the days of the original Might and Magic game. I have had a blast exploring the world, units, and crafting. Works great on the deck too. I'd give it two thumbs up if could.

Unique game-play and a good story. I won't spoil anything but there was a point in the game where I just went off the rails and started blowing all my ships to pieces and salvaging only the bare minimum. 10/10 would fail on purpose again.

Early Access Review
TLDR: This game is like Consortium, a solid concept and base but little more than a demo right now.

I had/have high hopes for this game but at the moment I just cannot recommend it in good faith. Starting with the good, the game has a solid game play loop of debriefing your team, equipping them, and sending them on a new mission. The story is good, not at all a "combat" game, more like a choose your own novel. The real decisions are in the handling of your team, not combat tactics.

As for the bad, well it just isn't done. I knew it was early access when I bought it but a 2 hour play though that doesn't even seem to get through the tutorial is not even a game yet. It is a demo. I will not be returning the game as I do genuinely think it has promise, but my advise to others is to wish-list/watch this title in hopes the finish.

TLDR: The game has fantastic pacing and follows good storytelling practices. The mechanics are fun and I would love to see more of the LEAF suit in some other game. It is short though and worth about $20 tops if you love a good story. This will be your cup of tea if you like Exile and Portal2. It is a lonely, quirky, story driven, discovery game reminiscent of the early 2000s. Everyone else get it for $5 just to play with the LEAF suit.

One of the most fun games I have played in a long time. To start with the LEAF suit is a blast. Like others I wish there was more gameplay just involving the suit. Unlike others I do not think the game needs to be longer to do this. I think even just a simple multiplayer "obstacle course race" mode would be a great addition. It would even make since from a lore perspective since it is abandoned military gear.....

That said the story is pretty good. None of the characters are particularly fantastic and the story is clich'e, but, none of them are poorly written and the story is told in an engaging way. I had a rather good time exploring the valley and piecing together the history there. The game can be completed in just a couple hours, but, if you take your time and just explore you can push it to about 5-8 hours without grinding. I am not sure this is a bad thing though. Too many games today stretch on so long and try to tell so many stories at once that the play looses all since of urgancy. Just think of the last time you heard in a game "the world is ending" and really....you are better off mucking around for another 300 game days. This game doesn't do that.

You start lost in a valley where you discover something big. Soon you find yourself pushing on and learning more until the moment you realize what is really happening. At that point you have the climax of the story, solve the main problem and it ends. Yes it makes the game much shorter than most today, but, in the end it makes for much more immersive story telling.

That said the it kills the games re-playability. I don't think this is necessarily a bad thing, but, know that when you purchase it you are not purchasing a 300 hour multiplayer game.

Early Access Review
Best time I have had in a FPS in a LONG time. Much of the gear and pacing reminds me of the original Unreal and Unreal Tornament. Best of all the mines are prcedural and it is Coop with each class bringing equally balanced and useful skills. It is a game with no truely bad class, weapon, or team composition that will keep you entertained for hours. Even if you don't have friends to play with BOSCO (your single player helper) is handy and even the PUGs are fun.

Diluvian, what is it? First off it is and RPG of sorts where you are the captian of a submarine. Not the modern nuclear submarines (though IDK what these things really are supposed to tun off) but old sci-fi or Jeules Vern esq submarines. In fact the entire world will very much remind you of 20,000 leauges under the sea or maybee a little of Sea-Quest meets Sunless Sea. You travel around a world represented by three zones trying to make a living and upgrade your submarine and overall gameplay/progression is much like the older space RPGs (Freelancer). There is no surface, only the deep in this game which is a little odd at first but it grows on you and fits with the game's lore very well. I cannot say much more about the game without possible spoilers, but, if so far it sounds like your cup of tea then give it a shot. You won't regret it.

In short Diluvian is the an interesting twist on an old tried but true genre of video game that has not seen much (good) action in a long while. It is still currently in development, but, doest not still feel like an alpha build. You should not get it and expect regular updates as the crew working on it is but three gents. Despite it's size though the team is very responsive and will help you work out any problems you have. It is well worth the $20 though for at least the first playthough and if you don't like it after that... Well it'll still have been a fun 10 hours.

Here is the short and sweet.

This expansion adds a little needed depth, but, not much. It it's worth your money on sale, idk about their full price of $30. Most features will be of more use to mid-late game players except the disappointment that is multi-pew. That feature is mostly good for newbie players with their veteran friends. It's like the vibrant paint packs. You buy it and love it, but, a week later you wonder why you had to pay for something that should be in the base game.

Great little adventure(?) game with more replayablity than one would think. It is short enough to play in a night, but it will pull you in.

Well, I am thoughly supprised by this game. First of all the story, art, and world design are all amaizing. Probably some of the best I have ever seen. Honestly I have nothing bad to say and for once and wish for nothing else from it. I would reccomend, however, that this game NOT be played as intended. I did try to play the game solo at first and, although more difficult it was far more enjoyable with my wife. As soon as I gave her the keyboard and she only controled the younger brother it changed the whole experiance. Expect more bickering this way (like real brothers....) but it deepens the story and charicter attachments.

I keep trying to get into this game but I just cannot. Every time I play I get about 10 minutes in before I start feeling like I am playing D&D by myself. Since I HAVE to finish the game I push on for about another 10 minutes before I just give up. I love D&D, I love RPGs, and I love single player games...but this is like the worst of all three.
