Where do I even begin? This game has been a classic for almost 20 years now with its distinctive art-style, game design, class synergy and simplicity. Sadly, it seems as though Valve had abandoned this game for other ventures (despite holding a top spot on Steam for years), relegating only basic patches and seasonal crates (Half of which are only accepting whatever gets the most votes on the workshop which are making the cosmetics worse, if the Smissmass 2020 Cosmetic case is anything to go off of.)

This game was a big part of my childhood and seeing it the way it is, especially with valve's cruel indifference to the cheaters and bot hosters ruining the experience for new players, it breaks my heart. I can't recommend this game at the point that it is, and I hope that by making this "review" that Valve finally notices and decides to allocate more resources to an actual solution rather than band-aid patches like removing text chatting for F2P players or disabling votekicks for newly joined players for 2 minutes.

Team Fortress 2 is a game that has stood the test of time for almost 17 years. It’s still beloved by millions as one of the greatest video games of all time. This makes it all the more shameful that Valve has refused to take substantive measures to eliminate this botting crisis.

Singleplayer=Fairly good, some parts don't make sense but that might just be me.

Multiplayer= Don't. R* has no anti-cheat and hackers/modders run around causing a lot of damage, including taking money directly from your Online character's bank account. R* also made nearly everything in Online more expensive then the Singleplayer game so they could potentially make more money with their shark cards. Not to mention that after 2 years of being on Steam it's still full price.

If you still want to buy the game, wait until it's AT LEAST 50% off.

Postitive review since everyone seems to be angry

It's a fantastic game, I'm only making this review to counter people crying over how they "wasted" their money on the devs for making this game last longer and bringing more players (As of writing this (and editing it) it went from about 200 to 49,000. I consider this a success.

TL;DR Wait a bit until it's on sale and when some bugs are fixed.

I played this game when it was on a free-weekend and I loved it. I liked the classes and what they had with them/what they could unlock, and how you could mix and match stuff to find the thing you liked most. People have been saying that this is basically L4D2 but with rats and.... They're damn right and I love it. My problem with the game is that some weapons didn't feel what I think would be right, such as a 2-handed hammer bouncing off regular rats with a regular attack, and some of the bugs that I've witnessed being "Patched" but people still saying that it hasn't been patched, like how some rats would be invisible for everyone but the host. Is it worth 30 dollars? I don't know, I haven't gotten too far in the game so I don't know how many missions there are. Once some of the bugs are fixed I'll probably pick it up and have some fun with it again.
