I received a call the other day from an unknown number and normally I don't pick up the phone in those kind of situations… But this time I was distracted so I accidentally picked it up and for once it wasn’t one of those Indian mfer’s who are calling Apple Fanboy’s to tell them that their Windows account has been locked or some other nonsense like that… So… I thought, well let’s hear this person out.

He didn’t introdcue himself, but he had this business proposal. He called it an offer i can’t refused… Kinda reminded me of a scene/quote from the movie The Godfather, but anyway... The idea was to immediately invest (what he said was a reasonable amount of money) in a game right now and then… to keep investing even more money into the same game in the upcoming years for stuff like DLC’s and all kinds of bug fixes... I belive he was talking about something like "The Gage (what not to) Fix Pack 10.0" and stuff like that… There will be special events where you need to pay money to take part in the event and then pay even more money to get your rewards from that event you already payed for to begin with. You know all the good stuff to support the community…

I have to admit that I didn't quite get it… But he was like you can put on a clown mask on and sit behind your PC or on your console since tere is crossplay (and enjoy it from the sofa, relax etc. I was thinking like who even does that?) and play the game. But the key part is to keep pumping your money into that one game like a clo.… while the company is putting in the effort to m… the cow… or something like that… The connection was kinda poor so I didn’t onderstand the last part but it doensn’t matter...

He said that he already talked to you about this proposal. I didn’t belive him to be honest untill he started talking about one your friends aswell. I belive he mentioned a guy called Stash like your main man form Germany or something like that… I couldn’t hear it clearly. But I did remeber that you played games with some Germans befor so it sounded legit to me…

Anyway he told me to think about it and that (I swear to God I heard this somewhere befor) I might need to educate myself if I chose to not accept it.

One thing i did notice from the start that he was talking in a Sheffiel accent. So I told him in my best Sheffield accent (because you know I am a guy like that) that i wil consider it.

But please tell me did het talk to you befor aswell of was it all a lie?
