Antagonist is incentivised heavily (Getting extra rewards at the end of each month and up to 40% more exp from missions) but not remotely fun to play as or vs, the game would be much better off if it was abandoned entirely and the PvE was made more difficult, or better yet, gave players the option to queue for missions on different difficulties. Grabs have been gutted to the point where you might as well never use them in PvP and melee becomes impossible as antagonist if the raiders stand near each other, making sniping the only viable option as the AI enemies don't do much and for the most part can be ignored entirely. This makes the entire antagonist system unenjoyable for all and both killing and dying as a result of the antagonist feels very cheap.

Aside from that, PvE is fun, although it's still a bit grindy., but it's made significantly worse by the random chance of someone joining in and mildly inconveniencing you by killing you instantly when you come out of cover with a sniper, and just generally making missions take longer for no real reason.

I really wish this game was better but people don't play it for a reason, and that reason is the antagonist system.
