60-70FPS stable during first mission, RTX on @ 1440p. RTX4080. It's definitely playable for me.

This game has been a dumpster fire since Delirium. The new league is the most boring tedious thing ever, just hard pass and hopefully they'll just trash PoE1 and try to get PoE2 out in a timely manner. With how the devs have expressed their ideology in past leagues like Archnem and their vision for the game I'd probably not expect much of PoE2 either.

Changing my review to positive after some performance improvements from the dev.
Play at your own risk, I struggle heavily to find a matchmade group for anything above T2 missions.

I've seen university students optimise their game better than this. Have heard from people who run 3090s getting 80FPS on any setting configuration, that's not even with RayTracing. You can run ultra Cyberpunk RTX better than this, and this looks way worse.

Don't buy this on launch, there's no way they optimise this by then. I've read some forum posts and it's pretty standard for this developer's games to run like absolute ass for up to 6 months - wait until then and you'll probably also be able to pick it up on sale.

It's truly abhorrent when it feels like the performance optimisation of a bad console port. Don't give them 60 AUD until they pull their act together.

I went into this game without high expectations as generally I don't like survival games.
This game is one of those few that surprise me with their quality. It's an absolute masterpiece with interesting story and amazing moments. It has boss fights... I went in blind and had no idea. Absolutely amazing, pick this up and play it with a friend.

It's a bit floaty and clunky for a game with PVP, but all around it has a lot of promise.

It's definitely out of the oven too soon, probably hold out a bit IMO. When it gets a bit smoother with performance and snappier in terms of gunplay I'll switch this to positive.

Definitely needs more tier based maps or similar - aka offering good rewards to segregate geared players from freshies, it feels kind of bad sometimes when you're gunning down another team late into your faction quests and they're in full whites with no idea of what's going on.
