The game is an absolute blast to play. 10/10 democracy simulator. Unfortunately right now as of the date of this post, Feb 21st 2024 - The game is a victim of its own success and the servers are at max capacity for a large majority of the day. The Devs have been very open about how they are doing everything they can to increase capacity and fix this issue, but its a backend coding issue and not simply a "more severs" issue. So it might take a few weeks to a month to fix.

Game is a buy, way better then most AAA games that have come out in the last decade.

Edit: About a week after this post the Dev team managed to allow over 800k active users on at any time and that number is even higher now. The game is running very smooth and as of a few days ago had its first real update that added new armor/weapons and a cool new Mech.

The dev team has been absolutely stellar, the game is getting better by the day.

This is a must buy!

When the Game first came out quite a while ago, it was pretty bare bones. But since day one the Devs have been very transparent about what is going on with the games development. Whats coming, When its coming. They have taken requests for features and added them to the game. These guys really listen to their community through the official discord.

The game has come a long way.

I will say the UI could still use some work and im currently not a fan of the repair mechanics they added, but overall the game is going in a great direction. At this point i would say its well worth the money, plenty of content for the price. It starts slow as all sim games do but it picks up steam and before you know it you will have a huge factory going. One minute its 10am and the next time you look at the clock its 7pm.

The Game is still being updated regularly, everything from small bug fixes and tweaks to full on additions and overhauls. Not many Devs give a ♥♥♥♥ anymore and i love to support ones that want to make a good game and put their community first and you should too. Otherwise we end up with ♥♥♥♥ like Fallout 76.

Having played the game for a bit now, i find it pretty fun.

its got a good amount of challenge to it, requiring a good amount of micromanagment.

The AI is pretty wierd at times but the next patch is going to be fixing a lot of ai related problems to the game.

The game in its current state has a lack of replayability... after you get a base going on all 3 of the planets their is really nothing left to do in the game... but the devs have said they are going to add more planets in the future.

All in all i would rate the game a good 7/10 and worth the 15$... given time and more updates the game will be even better.

Payday 2 was a very good game for a good long time. It was updated pretty good, had new dlc to keep things fresh.

The devs told us they would never put Microtransactions into the game, but they lied... a week ago with the latest update they put in microtransactions... all because starbreeze (the studio who created the game) wanted some more sweet sweet cash..so they decided to milk the player base for all its worth.

Don't by this game, the devs lie and then make you pay for it...litterally.
