Espire 1 truly makes you appreciate what you put snake through in Metal Gear, spending an hour hunched over, bending down starts to ache my back (I know artificial turn exists but immersion). Anyways, the game is great, it feels smooth, runs even smoother and its great. While I feel like the AI could do with a bit of work, sometimes they spot you through objects, other times it feels like they auto spot you unless you are crouched; crouching while hanging from the ceiling feels awkward but its the only viable way to travel up there stealthily.

The immersion here is great and Espire 1 proves that a fully fledged VR game can be fun. I was skeptical by all the delays and miscommunications but I bit the bullet, bought it and I surely don't regret it. £20 for a 6 hour VR campaign with challenges and cheats seems like a good deal. If the AI was a little more polished and the AI felt more consistent, the game would be a testament to what VR is capable of. I have been worried about full single player VR games for a while but this truly makes me have hope for Boneworks and Half Life Alyx, I know they're different genres but they are still SP VR games.

While I've only spent a short amount of time in the game, what I have has been chilling, scary and fun. I'm going on my first expedition after the tutorial and I spot the objective, some corpse. I notice a ring around it and have no clue what it is. I step through it assuming its nothing and suddenly everything goes dark and my vision gets worse, a loud screeching noise echoes in my ears. I stand there for 30 seconds, confused, unsure of what to do, I stand there, gun drawn, torch out & ready to try to fight anything thrown at me. I eventually think to move out of the circle, the noise gets angrier, I try to run but my movement is slowed. I escape, only to be killed by a monster later on. Thats the atmosphere created, I think its great. The game is buggy, don't get me wrong, its Early Access after all, but the price its at for the content you appear to be getting is phenomenal. I can't wait to sink my teeth into this even more. I felt like I was in the game a lot longer than 42 minutes, the game is hard core and just like the souls genre and Stalker, you are punished for your mistakes. After my initial experience, I was terrified to touch or go near anything that I didn't recognise. This was great and thank you to the devs for making this amazing experience! Performance on my rig (i5 8700k, 1060 6gb, 8gb ddr4) was fairly smooth other than when first going into or out of a level. Definitely has potenial, looking forward to seeing how this progresses.

Just saying, I have actually got about 6 1/2 hours in this game. Me and 2 of my friends once took most of a day to beat this thing on PSVR and since it was on sale I bought it again. Beat it in 52 minutes this time around, I've improved, I was so proud of myself that I wanted to compare to the world record... I was now in a state of confusion and anger (Its like 7 minutes).

Anyways Superhot VR is one of those VR games that you must have. The feel of matrix dodging bullets is unrivalled, there is no movement at all so I find it as one of the experiences I show off when someone says to me, "Show me the best VR game". Personally I would show them something else but I don't like to give newbies to VR motion sickness and turn them off the game so on PSVR, this game was my choice. Im probably going to pour more hours into endless now. Bye.

Yeah its fun. Not 20quid fun but if I was buying it after playing it, I would've waited for a sale. Its good, fun and enemies are a lot more reactive than in blade and sorcery. I know the dev says they are two different games but I don't see that
B&S Has more polish, optimisation, weapons and physics (by that I mean you can throw things at enemies)
Hellsplit has more weight, better graphics, better gore, better blocking
If you love B&S you will probably enjoy this as a change of pace. Only thing I could ask for is for there to be more than 2 enemies at once, unless this is a thing based on where I am in the game... At the asking price it isn't worth it, but what lies here is a game with tonnes of potenial, typically I would refund due to value but it is fun and updates seem fairly frequent. Excited to see where this one goes.

The bosses are amazing btw...

This is one of those "VR essentials". Cheap, easy to run, mods and no motion sickness. It's great because it's simple.

Firstly, I want to say big props to the developers. They sent me out a PM asking for some feedback and noted it down, not sure if they will act on it but either way this is interaction with the community like i've never seen before.

Now to the game, Zero Caliber VR is a sort of Call Of Duty co-op hybrid in my eyes, like a really glorified spec ops (from MW2). The guns all can be managed realistically or you can just shove a new mag in and tap the gun. It feels great, runs great. For me the highlight feature is the movement system. To put it shortly you can climb on anything. This creates a high skill ceiling for example in the 'timber' mission I was shooting at enemies from the top of a tree, with practice, you can throw yourself in the air, put a new mag in your pistol and then grab back onto the tree, its a small bit of practice but works really well. Attachments are also fluid. Nothing negative that is a problem enough to be worth mentioning.

Can't wait to see where this game goes in the future!

This game is perfect for my YT channel where I do a little series called "The *Insert game here* experience" this fits perfectly in that format so when my schedule isn't so cramped this review will be updated with a link to that video!
