Omori was something I went into blind, and honestly it was amazing. Normally, I am a pretty good detective and I find the endings out fairly quickly but I couldn't with this game and it made it all the more amazing. The art style is amazing and so creative and the sound design really emphasises the mood, and there's so many hidden things in the nooks and crannies that show how much love was put into this game. It definitely lives up to the hype!

Now I am a bit biased as I have mental illness and this game is the funny mental illness game it itched my brain in the right way. It really reminded me of other RPGmaker games like Corpse party, Misao and Hello Charlotte but honestly this is the best one. The combat is super fun and felt rewarding, there is plenty of side content to do and I'm told I have to try the alternate route so it also has nice replay-ability.

However, be warned this is a CREEPY game, and I am not great at those so thankfully I had a friend with me who warned me/took over when I couldn't. There are SPIDERS and it doesn't tell you this. I couldn't do any of these sections without having my friend guide me but, my friend says that my arachnophobia is worse than most but something to consider.

Going into this blind is key. Honestly, it is one of the games that I found myself really enjoying and looking back at to see all the leading hints and I can't wait to play it again and look for anything I missed (and achievement hunting).
