Phasmophobia was a game gifted to me by a good friend of mine. I do really like this game and I have a bunch of fun everytime I play. I've been spooked, I've been hunted and I've caught plenty of ghosts. I think I wouldn't be giving a valid review if I didn't disclose the issues I have with this game. The game is still in early development so I don't hold these issues to the creators. The cons I have with this game include: the speed of your hunter, the consistency in finding evidence and lobby sizes. The speed of your hunter is abysmal and I find the "sprinting" almost barely increases how quickly you move. I find it hard to believe that I am running for my life and I travel as if I was browsing a grocery store. Secondly, the consistency of the evidence. We had a game where we sat with the ghost for an extended period of time and just could not get the final piece of evidence. We took close care to read the entire whiteboard and make sure we were all in the room as the ghost likes. Upon guessing and leaving, we were told we had the wrong ghost. Apparently the ghost should have been using the spirit box. We were all dumbfounded by this, as we had allocated plenty of time to the spirit box and were 90% sure that could not have been the piece of evidence we needed. Finally, the lobby size. Four is a perfect size and I understand that, however, I have about 5 friends with this game that are frequently able to play at the same time and I think lobby sizes should go up to 8 if you are in a private lobby. I say private lobby specifically because it would be chaos in a public one. I understand how 8 can seem really large, especially for maps like the streethouse, but it is a well developed game that I have tons of fun with, and I'd like to have that much fun with everybody I know. Overall, if you have friends with this game, get the game! It may not be as scary after you've done your first couple missions, but when a door slams on you and the flashlight starts flickering, the fear comes running back to you. I hope this review was able to help anybody reading. I rate the game a solid 6/10 in its current state. 6 is a bit nit picky and I could go with 7, but I feel as if I wouldn't be honest claiming I'm not blinded by playing exclusively multiplayer. Get hunting and have fun.

It is a lot of fun. Like, especially fun with friends. I recommend muting with friends until discussion time so nothing accidentally gets leaked and the game is as fair as possible. That's all I have to say, the game was worth my five bucks, as it is much more enjoyable on PC. Hope this was somewhat worth your while...?

This game is a mix of Phoenix Wright and Picross, two series of which I love. I've currently beaten the first case and I'm about halfway done the second, however, I am having an issue where whenever I attempt to play the game I get black-screened and it does not allow me to play! I'm super bummed, does anyone reading this know what the issue might be and how I might be able to solve it? I've tried task manager, shutting off my computer, logging in and out of steam, and several other options. I like the game so much that it's killing me not being able to play!

This game was something I picked up for a friend and I to watch me go through. It was free, so why not? 83 minutes later, and I can confidently say this was one of the funniest experiences I have ever had. It was an awful game with an awful plot, and decisions that rarely ever matter. To be quite honest, I still don't understand what happened. The traitor was not the most predictable thing in the world, in fact I thought it was the teacher. So that was a pleasant surprise. There isn't much more to say. In terms of whether the game was enjoyable or not, I give it a 6/10. The grammar was hilariously bad, and the story was almost too bad to make any sense at all. In terms of it being a proper game, I'd have to give it a 2/10 at most. If you're willing to spare 83 minutes for a laugh fest with a friend or two, go for it. However if you want to play it alone and get a good experience out of it, this is not the game for you. Have fun in your 'Summer Nightmare!' One more thing, the fact that they pulled a "it was all a dream" card was immensely disappointing. So, if that stuff pisses you off, do not do it. Thanks for reading!

This game continuously frustrates me and I have the most severe sense of anxiety while playing, yet I keep rallying up my friends and finding myself revisiting the game for more and more hours of fun and stress. This game although having WAY too many bugs, and several flaws on both sides of the spectrum such as camping and or tunneling for the killer and teabagging and flashlighting as the survivor seems to present hours of strategy, fun and overall a good gaming experience for horror fans such as myself. 9.4/10

Never have I been so extremely pleased with a video game series other than Danganronpa. Truly an excellent game that makes you use logic and puzzle-solving skills to develop relationships with many of the unique and talented students show to you. Danganronpa is a mystery game about 15 students trapped in a school: how do you get out? By killing a student and getting away with it. What happens if you get caught? A cinematic execution regarding your talent of course! This game uses horror, psychological, and emotional dialogue to its advantage alongside a humorous antagonist known as Monokuma. Although I am biased I would recommend this game! Even if you do not like it to its maximum potential, the second game is a large step up in difficulty and story with possibly the most complex yet intriguing baseline I have ever experienced. Pros: Art Style/Puzzles/Gameplay/FreeTimeEvents. Cons: Sometimes the answer is extremely obvious while other times it is too obscure for words. What would I rate this game? I would give it a 7.9/10 Is it worth the money? In my opinion yees, replayability is high and fun. Hope this helps!
