Straight up ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ in design other than graphics. They Basically just took Victoria 2 and copied it with better graphics made the combat system more complex than the Syrian Civil War made core parts of the game into a $38 DLC which in tern makes you by the game *again* just to have a decent experience in the game the combat system really takes away from this game the idea of everything else was good on paper but when executed to be put into the game made it really ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ 4/10

Dead game

Could of gone somewhere with it but since the last update was around a year ago the devs just left it

After about a week of playing this game I would highly recommend this game.
Most of the ship games like this either don't have the budget or graphics that make a combat naval game a combat naval game. They way you can design your ships and clash at see with other naval powers is one of the greatest ideas in any game I seen in a long time mechanics are ok, and for the price I have to say its definitely worth it The only thing I don't like about the game is the AI its horrible when it comes to combat or moving strategically to counter you. Couple things I would suggest Fix the AI, Make convoy shipping lanes (to make it easier to protect it but make it like a option to have it on for those who don't want it on) also ships should have a realistic desturiction function such as a ship getting slammed by rounds into the center could cause the ship to split also ships should still bounce around because of waves when sinking instead of becoming a stiff object and finally change it so guns cant shoot downwards what I mean is when the ship is listing to a specific degree they can't shoot downwards so you can't keep shooting at a unrealistic angle like in real life although some guns cant shoot downwards most can't (only for really close ranges far ranges are ok to have it listing and shooting). All in all this game is a 9/10 so far (Can't wait for US, Japanese and Russian campaign.


Edit: The Devs have fixed the guns shooting at impossible angles so ignore that part

First off here is what I think of War Thunder

Pros
Free to Play
Fun PVP/PVE
Creative decalesTank/airplanes and naval craft

Cons

In game purcheses are way to expensive which is their main way of making money so I understand that
Grinding Probably the most hated things on war thunder taking time years to get a modern tank plane or naval craft and, the matchmaking I find this really annoying because you will run into people that are really good like they will have a Abrams and they bring out one of there small tanks at low Battle rating and Destroy the hole lobby.
PVP is the only way to get Research Points in games

Conclusion: If you really want this game just make sure you have at least years of grinding you want to do and if you don't want to grind against people then your out of luck

Cons -

The first major downside is the price. For being 20$ its not worth it unless they give some really big content update.
Can get boring after a couple hours (Not to all people).
Still being in Early Access and still being 20$

Pros -

Fun to watch the A.I destroy each other on maps that you download or create!
although I do prefer games with good graphics instead of pixels this game has made it so that the graphics aren't as bad as you might think. Even low end computers can run the game!

I'n conclusion wait until a steam sale to buy it under $9.99 or €8.85. I will defiantly buy this game again but, only when they make the game cheaper or until there is a sale.

Note: This is my review and do not wish to be hated for this review. I am simply stating my opinion on the game at its current state i will 100% change the review when they do more with the game or new major content.

Some Beta testers can't play modded
Jank Vehicle moment and A.I

Very laggy in multiplayer
Lack of detail to vehicles
Price for the whole game (DLC'S included, Other than GOH)
Lack of the great rts feelin from MOWAS series + GOH (All are really well done)



Summery: Game is not worth it. With the developers complete abounding it for another game (Gates of Hell) a very good Eastern Front WW2 RTS game. Lack of Details etc.

At the current state of Hearts of Iron 4

Having Fun is one of the major factors that key into the game starting as a nation and making your empire larger than others. Play as any country in 1936 or 1939. Make division with temples find meta's and destroy the world or be peaceful and protect everybody with guarentes! Another major reason why i kept the game is when the base game itself gets boring (without dlc's) you can go pick them up only for 10-40 USD. Now that is very expensive especile for people that don't have as much money to make up for that go to the steam workshop and look at all the stuff people have made! It's one of the main things that kept me going Some mods allowing you to play in 1915 or in the fallout universe or in Modern Day or even in 1600's the choice is yours!
