The best Mechwarrior game i've played since 2004

Supermassive did a great job developing the game, ran perfectly and had minimal issues. Story felt meh as it was just one big background simulator for the first 2 hours. The climax of this adventure really felt like the start of something interesting, would've been nice for just a bit more. I've played a lot of Dead By Daylight so I was familiar with the lore and the tie-ins were nice to see but wish we got more of them.

The game just felt lacking in story, first 1/3 was background simulator, 2/3 part was a bit of exploring with some light puzzles. Final third was nice with a solid chase but it was all over too soon, wish there was a bit more action.

Can't recommend it for full price, i'd wait for a sale.

Fantastic game

The absolute chaos knowing 300 bugs are swarming on your position that can one shot you is terrifying. Every player on the team needs to contribute to have a chance at success. Very fun game.

Update for 1.0 Release: It's even better now than it was a few months ago. Ambushes feel like real ambushes, hit registration is a lot better, performance is fine but my PC struggles with Agni Prime. Maps are really detailed and visually stunning. The carnage system with perma bugs creates an extremely unique feel where bugs that are dead still pose a threat as they can be climbed over, just like in the movies. Each role feels very impactful and a well rounded composition can really make or break a run. Gunplay is very satisfying with each weapon providing its own specialty. This game is just pure fun. No BS, no Paywall, just hop in, shoot bugs and enjoy the bloodbath.

This is an indie game, not AAA studio. Unintended Features and Bugs may make their way in, and I have no issue spending DLC to support a studio and a game that I thoroughly enjoy. It's not going to be COD levels of polish, but its still a damn good game.

The best game ever made. Soundtrack, gameplay, lore, story, everything is just the pinnacle of gaming.

If you liked Fallout 4, you'll probably like 76. It's a lot of fun in the current state, 8/10 would recommend.
