Honestly I had a tough time writing a review for Elsewhere High Chapter 1.

It's just painfully average. Unfortunately steam doesn't have neutral rating so I will give it a positive one BUT ONLY because its free, small in download size, and it works.

From a technical perspective it's not good. The interface doesn't look good and it's missing some basic VN options (e.g. text speed), art style is also nothing special (It's passable). It does have sound affects/music's which are pretty good except you can't turn them off or lower them (there is literally no sound option !?!). Also steam overlay doesn't work.

The story wise it's ok and personally I enjoyed it. Writing and pacing is better then your average steam visual novel and I haven't noticed any grammar mistakes. You do get a few choices through the story (two at the time) but the problem is choices are pretty much useless considering they don't affect the ending.

Also if you want 100% achievement completion you'll have to buy chapter 2.

Overall 5/10. You should give it a try but unfortunately don't expect too much.

I do think that this developer can make a better VN in the future if they polish technical aspects of it and some other minor things.

As someone who played a lot of free visual novels on steam I can safely say Red String of Fate is one of the better ones (although that's not that hard to achieve (─‿‿─) ) .

Red String of Fate is a comedy otome. You play as Valerie a student that can see other peoples red strings of fate(red cord that's connects people that are destined to meet one another ). The story itself is great and well paced although some of the dialogue could be a little better. The characters are likable and interesting. There is four possible endings.

The art and music are well done. It fits well with a theme and tone of the game.
Interface is also good(something you can't say for a lot of free VNs on steam).

And at the end its free and small in download size. If I had to score it I would give it 7.5/10.

Ps. Choose Luke (^̮^)

Note: I've already played this game on itch.io while I was waiting for it to release on steam.

I've never played mobile version and as a fan of final fantasy games I had to try it. I was very skeptical of mobius. It is a mobile port after all and generally I didn't have high hopes for it. Boy was I wrong. The game is great. First of from technical perspective graphic could easily pass as average on pc(considering its mobile port), sound and voice acting is pretty good and interface is well designed(although you'll need some time to get the hang of it).

The first hour of game is actually pretty average but don't be fooled. Although the story starts pretty generic it actually gets really interesting and I found myself wanting to find out more about this world. Gameplay similarly to story starts pretty weak but the further you progress there's more depth to it. While at the beginning you can just use auto combat the more you progress the more you'll have to pay attention to you build(which is based on card system) and enemies you face.

As a free game there's always potential for it to be pay to win. In case of mobius its 90% free. I didn't even notice stamina system until chapter 2. Also pretty much all things you can obtain without spending money(although you'll have to grind for some things towards the end game).

Overall you should definitely try mobius final fantasy. It does start weak but it just keeps getting better and better the further you progress. If I had to put number on mobius it would be 7/10.

Also depending on when you play there is always great events. Currently its crossover between mobius and final fantasy 7 and it is great.
