"I understand people are excited about this but it's probably not for me." Me, last year. Then I bought it. Now I have 31 hours in this. You can believe the hype, it is this good.

I tried to like it but the game mechanics are basically googling and reading and while the new evidence pieces at the beginning were interesting to read, it just turns into re-reading and putting relations together by exclusion. I'm sure that's fun for some but it didn't really offer a great gameplay experience for me.

bought it on sale, had a good time with it. shooting was fun, driving is a bit meh but overall good game.

very chill game, easy to forget anything around you and just power blast some dirt.

I'm recommending it because the game was fun and I even played through it a second time to see if anything changes based on my choices. The setting is cool, the music is fantastic, the voice acting really good and fits the characters, and the gameplay elements are fun enough to keep you going.

Two things that are negative and nearly lead me to not give this a recommendation:

1. You can't skip any dialogue, cutscenes, anything really. Makes replaying unnecessarily long. I'm missing 3 achievements and I likely won't go get them because of it.

2. your choices do not matter at all (outside of achievements) and there's only one ending. It's a little disappointing and really lowers the replay value of the game.

Really good game, the themes, the looks, and the overall story were all really enjoyable. I took several moments just sitting or standing and enjoying the cyberpunk city and how good the game looked. I didn't replay it (yet?), so I only got one ending but it was worth finishing the game. It's also, I think, very clever in the way it doesn't tell you what's real and what is not, so you have something to think about after finishing the game. No bugs, crashes or issues.

If you liked Hades you like this. I loved Hades and I am having a fantastic time with this game. The soundtrack is great, the movement and new combat is really good and I enjoy the way they changed the upgrade system and everything else. Story, voice acting and all that good stuff is still really, really good. Buy it, it's worth it.

Probably my game of the year so far. Incredible through and through. Great gameplay, surprising depths (hehe), fun mini games, funny characters and story, a ton of fish, food, and great, great, great music.

It's a fun game but a bit short for a full price title. I think this is a fantastic pick up from a sale. The combat is fun, albeit a bit monotonous after a while. It's a straight forward gameplay loop, find a combat arena and kill everybody there, solve some puzzles or move the story forward, find another combat arena, fight a boss.

The combat is pretty smooth but sometimes gets a bit janky. I played with mouse and keyboard and the shooting was very fun, I'm not too fuzzed on the melee but with upgrades it gets much better.

It's a great Batman story, the city is fantastic, the setting is cool and the main characters are all enjoyable. Unfortunately the gameplay is terrible, movement and combat incredible janky. The looter shooter part completely uninspired and the whole gearing system really useless.

I enjoyed my time when I did the main story and at the beginning stopping the crimes (similar to Arkham games). But you repeat places over and over and over again with no real sense of progress of your characters. I played only as Batgirl because she made enemy mechanics obsolete and was the easiest to get through some of the more annoying crimes.

Overall, if you really love Batman get this game on sale and stick to the main story. It's worth it for that but do not expect this to be a smooth game like any of the Arkhams.
