Overview of the game.

This game has a lot of good things going on, it all revolves around the gacha banner: the new chapter, new weapons, new equipment, new zones. It takes a lot of inspiration from Honkai Impact 3rd.

Trouble with this design is the inevitable insane power creep. Characters go from every day 'noobs' and transform into demigods, then to literal galaxies inside of their clothes and eyes, you know how it goes...

The banner is unforgiving to say the least, I lost a 50/50 after trying so hard to gather free crystals... I literally got nothing for my effort.

Besides trying to 'gacha' characters. For 30 hours of play I think it was a good experience. It's like watching a Marvel film at the cinema.

Why thumbs up? The story experience.

The game allows you to experience the chapters focusing on each new character for free, in order they were introduced. This approach is effectively like a trial for each character and provides an immersive way to understand if they are a good fit for you. It's an engaging way to see the new content and learn more about the game lore as you play. Additionally, this feature complements daily quests quite well. You can dive into the new chapters, enjoy the detailed graphics and narrative elements, and then return to your regular daily quests without feeling like you're taking a significant detour from your usual routine.

Keep in mind while I enjoy these aspects, I would be cautious about highly investing in the game. The new character chapters are a definite highlight, your investment should be balanced with the game's power creep and ruthless 50/50 gacha system.
