Early Access Review
It's pretty fun. I can see someone getting a lot more playtime out of hunting all the secrets, which did feel super rewarding to me. The gameplay is very fast and responsive and feels great to play. My only complaint is getting lost in the maze-like levels, but that's just a personal preference. All around pretty good. I got it in a bundle, but I think if you're the kind of person that loves going deep and hunting down secrets, this is a great pick for the price.

I really enjoyed raft. I found the game to be a really relaxing experience, especially once you get your raft fully armored and don't have to worry about the shark. The gameplay loop is fun and really forgiving, especially if you play on easy. If you're looking for a really chill experience by yourself or with some pals, this game is a great choice. However, it's far from perfect.

My biggest complaint is with how quickly tools degrade. They go by QUICK, which is really frustrating given how often you're going to have to be using them. Because of this, it's not very tempting to make the end-game tools given how expensive they are. Additionally, I found the third act to be... Strange. The game has an extremely sharp change in tone and pace on the final island. I can confidently say that if the changes that occurred on the final island occurred even one island earlier, I wouldn't have finished the game. It's such a stark departure from what the game has been for the past forty hours, and definitely for the worse.

That being said, once you're done there, you don't have to go back and it can be safely ignored. I don't think that it should keep you from trying the game, but maybe have a guide at the ready if you find that the puzzles are a little obtuse.

Overall, Raft is a really good game. I enjoyed the premise and most of the execution. Outside of harvesting hitboxes the game is fairly free of bugs and runs well enough. Despite its flaws I'd say that Raft is well worth the full price.

I'm really enjoying the game so far. The gun play, while far from the main focus of the game, feels pretty good despite how quickly you're moving around. The parkour is the real meat of the game, though. It's really satisfying to slowly shave the seconds off of runs, or even somehow manage to clock in several seconds below the diamond time on your first try. The aerial movement is pretty floaty, but I think it works with the pace the game expects.

As many have mentioned, though, the dialogue is a little dodgy. Not all of it, as I've actually gotten a laugh or two out of some sequences, but definitely strap in for some campy anime dialogue.

Probably my favorite horde shooter. While the missions can be a smidge repetitive compared to others in the genre, the gameplay is what really shines. Each character only has a few different weapons, but there are so many builds available for each, with a good amount of minor tweaking possible even between two very similar builds. The balancing is fantastic, with each class having its share of strengths and weaknesses. Finally, the monetization is really good. All mechanical upgrades are obtained solely through gameplay, with a large number of cosmetics as well. What cosmetics can be purchased are purchased as one of a few reasonably priced bundles that go on sale often.

Game's fantastic. Most of the weapons feel really punchy and awesome to use. Each part slowly introduces new concepts to keep things interesting, yet none really overstay their welcome. Everyone mentions the movement, and for a good reason. I was pulling off movement patterns that changed from second to half-second, but the movement is so smooth that even while I focused on shooting enemies, I never once lost track of where I was in a room. It really is that good.

The game is worth the buy-in even at full price, as there're plenty of ways to improve your times and style, as well as a ton of secrets to find.

I really enjoyed this game, despite horror not being my preferred genre. The atmosphere was really well done, and the walks to work really reminded me of dark walks home from work when I worked late shifts. The mundane things you have to do really took me back to when I worked that job, and definitely helped the game leave an impact.

I was led to believe that the game wouldn't have jump scares, though do be aware that it does have a couple. One is alright for what it intends to do, but the other wasn't really necessary. The final puzzle was also really confusing, so don't be afraid to look up a video guide, as it's really difficult to figure out what to do.

All in all, though, the game is a really good experience, especially for the price point. I'd definitely recommend leaving the VHS filter on for at least one playthrough, as I feel like it helps the atmosphere a fair bit, having only turned it on for my second playthrough.

Phantom Abyss is great. It's got a little Early Access funk, naturally, but the majority of it is superb. Movement feels fantastic. You're extremely fast and have so much air control over your character. The whip is extremely lenient thanks to its ability to snap to ledges, which is much less frustrating than it sounds.

The gameplay loop isn't terribly deep right now, but the gameplay itself is very fun and the perfect amount of challenging, for the most part. The guardians can complicate things, though the devs are thankfully open to adjusting aspects of them that feel less fair. There're multiple options for whips that can change how you play, though some of them are objectively better than other once you remove the curse from them. A particularly bad example is two whips in the same tier that provide one extra heart or two.

The performance is a little lacking. I'm not sure what the problem is, but as of typing this many people have had severe performance issues with decent rigs. I've had some frame drops, though thankfully it's still playable. The devs have stated that this issue is high priority for them, so hopefully that gets fixed soon.

All around, the game is really fulfilling to play. You just feel cool jumping and grappling around, just narrowly avoiding a guardian and squeaking into a safe room.

Warframe, while kind of confused in its direction, is a great game. The gameplay is great, if repetitive, and the community is among the best I've ever seen.

There's loads of options as far as fashion and gameplay. There's close to 500 weapons across various niches, and around 46 warframes at the time of writing. Warframe isn't a particularly difficult game, but that works to its benefit, as it means the overwhelming majority of all weapons and warframes can reasonably be used in most content.

The gameplay mostly revolves around running the same missions over and over in randomized map layouts, or one of three large open world maps with various side activities. While not much of the content is very deep outside of some of the open world bosses, there's a LOT of it, ensuring that you'll almost always have some goal to chase.

Finally, the monetization is really fair. They do nickel and dime you with weapon/warframe/pet/vehicle slots, which is very off putting. However, if you put in some time to learn a few systems, you can very easily accumulate modest amounts of Platinum, the premium currency, through trading with other players. Barring three items that are exclusive to those who purchased supporter packs early in the game's life, EVERY piece of gear can be obtained for free. The grind varies for each piece of gear, though it's unlikely that you'll spend excessive amounts of time on any given item.

To wrap it up, Warframe is a great, fair F2P game that deserves at least a try. There's a lot in the way of content, to the point that after thousands of hours there's still a few things I've yet to finish.

Superliminal is beautiful. The puzzles are fun, the narration is extremely enjoyable, and the overarching story really took me by surprise. At only one point in the entire game was I even remotely frustrated, the difficulty of the puzzles is really well done. Simply exploring the levels made for a great experience, as there's hidden stuff all over the place. It's not very long, but I feel like it's the perfect length for what they were going for. If you play Superliminal, please ignore the speedrun achievements on your first playthrough, as you'll end up missing out on a completely unique and incredible experience.

Tons of choices on how you want to play. Caster, ranger, and fighter are all valid and never lack variety. There's a lot to explore and discover, as well. For the price, it's easily worth it on or off sale.
