(from a F2P multiplayer perspective)

Infinite is an amazing blend of old and new.
The gun-play and TTK feels like Halo 3 yet the movement including the advanced (dash/grappling hook) abilities feel distinctly new and fresh without being obtrusive (Unlike... a certain wingsuit in another AAA series).

The main downsides are the battle-pass and the customisation locked behind it, and the matchmaking system... C'mon 343 we've had full control over matchmaking searches for... as far as I can remember in the series, why can't we have it now?

Also being back all chat, Toxicity is a fact of online gaming, Taking away a medium of being toxic will not reduce the problem in the slightest. All it does is rob us of the delicious salt that can come from enemy players, and leaves us with our... nearly always silent (if they're not being toxic ♥♥♥♥♥) teammates. You're not going to kill toxicity, so stop trying.

Insurgency Sandstorm is a brilliant example of game design done right.
While the optimisation got off to a rocky start the game has always seemed to come forward in leaps and bounds.

The weapon models are gorgeous, the choices is customisation look great, The maps are (mostly) brilliantly designed and also look gorgeous.

If you're a fan of good sound design Insurgency will cause you to have an accident in your pants hearing the gunshots echo and rattle your head, the explosions the melon-esc sound of someones head being blown clean off their shoulders... Its well implemented and extremely well designed.

Weapon balancing in both PVE and PVP is also very well done. I've never felt "out-matched" by a weapon in 1 on 1 fight and now that DMR's are going to get more expensive (with the next major update - Operation: Cold Blood) I honestly can't think of any weapon that I feel needs "Nerfed".

As far as game-modes go, I'm familiar with Push, Fire-fight, Competitive Fire-Fight in PVP, Checkpoint and Outpost in PVE.

All of which are perfectly fine except one, Push.
Push can be an extreme slogging match and you really need to be in the right "Mindset" to play it. If your team as attackers lose momentum your "push" grinds to a halt.
While that's not really a problem per se, Its still very annoying when your team consistently runs into enemy fire and diminishes your respawn waves before you ever get a chance to get into the real meat of the fighting.

Tl:dr, Insurgency Sandstorm is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ gorgeous game, well worth the full asking price and it deserves a lot more praise than it gets.

Rainbow Six Siege is a brilliant concept executed poorly (A staple of late 2010's Ubisoft it seems),
I've sat with Siege since launch and while the game has improved, its nowhere near where you'd expect such a popular game to be 5 years into its development,

DLC maps are poorly designed and almost always get thrown out of the Ranked/ESL map pools the only one I remember being played extensively was from the Japanese operators, Skyscraper and even that map got bland and boring fast, to add onto things worse the Maps are only getting worse with each season, While its good to see the Developers focusing more on reworking maps instead of creating new ones, Except for Clubhouse the reworks have failed to keep my attention at least.
Not being able to pick and choose what maps you play also doesn't help, being forced to play Villa 4 times in a row gets old fast, games like CS-GO are a lot more user friendly than siege in this aspect.

The Community is easily one of the most Toxic Communities in gaming probably only running up second to Call of Duty or Battlefield, Tensions run high in competitive games but that doesn't give people the right fly off the handle at even the smallest slip up.

As for game-play its stunning to see how far siege has fallen looking in retrospect. The Developers are hellbent on making life easier for lazy players, Claymores, *Invisible* trip mines, Concussion mechanics its pathetic, Gun play is relatively point and click depending on which weapon you choose and also attachments, Zoom is king so you'll be actively cucking yourself if you don't choose the ACOG (it makes life so much easier and its such a crutch).

Even the "Balanced" Operators and gadgets still have their issues, I have lost count of the amount of times a successfully detonated breaching charge (Soft and hard) have failed to open a wall fully, or at all in some cases.
Hit-registration is questionable at best and its nice to see Ubisoft at least invested in the best possible servers!... (In rural Uganda).

Bottom line - I do not recommend Rainbow Six Siege with the state of the game and how far its sliding downhill I don't think that'll change.

CS:GO Review
CS-GO has held and will continue to hold the top spot for "Competitive" shooters.
Gun play is easy to learn, Difficult to master. The majority of maps are well designed and fun to play, being able to directly choose which maps you do and do not play definitely helps (Siege.. looking at you), While its true the community can let the experience down... sadly that's just part of gaming all round.

Bottom line, CS-GO is a barebones shooter with minimal gimmicks, disregarding the human element the game is worth investing time into learning.
