I really do enjoy playing this game, but Update 14 and the trailer for the new Devotion to Duty game mode really makes me not want to play.

Update 14 released 2 new maps and a new faction. Sounds great right? Every new faction weapon has excessive sway when moving while ADSing. It's to the point that some weapons are unusable. Some of them don't even have the sights centered and shoot to the left. One of the new maps tends to cause lag a majority of players pcs as well.

You'd think, oh stuff is broken they'll put out a hot patch quickly to try to show they're fixing stuff. NO. They announced that they were aware of the bugs, but the next update to fix the bugs would be on the 22nd of June. A whole month after the update was released. It's like they don't even want to attempt to show that they care about the player experience. I'm not sure how it even got past QA unless there is no QA which makes more sense.

I don't even want to talk about the trailer. It was absolutely disgusting. They could've just used cinematic gameplay of the actual game, and it would've looked better than the trailer. The trailer looks like something I'd expect out of a video game from the mid 2000s. It's looks that bad. One of the big content producers for the game said before the trailer released, "the bar was so low to overcome that almost no matter what they do, the trailer would be the best thing about the stuff coming out." After it came out, he then released a video that proceeded to show you how bad the trailer was.

If they fix the issues with the game and take in feedback from the community, I'll update the review. What will probably happen is what happens to most other games where they will go the way they want to go even though it hurts the game. I'm still going to keep playing, but I will strongly recommend for anyone interested in buying the game to not buy the game as it is in it's current form. It feels like the devs just do not care right now about the quality of the updates.
