The best feeling platform fighter since Melee, and I'd argue it feels even better. Great netcode, lots of unlockable cosmetics, unique characters. With all future characters being added for free I feel like this is a no-brainer if you've ever enjoyed platform fighters.

As a long time platform fighter fan, I can easily say this is my favorite of all time. Rollback netcode is great, movement is super fast with a ton of freedom, and combat is extremely expressive.

The most feature complete fighting game ever made. Plus amazing netcode, ranked, lobbies, and more. Unreal game tbh. A must-buy if you've ever enjoyed a 1v1 fighter

I don't know how a fighting game is being released in 2023 with such terrible netcode. 30ms and getting constant stuttering when I know for a fact I have a great connection.

Not worth your time unless you plan on playing your neighbors, or just using parsec.

This will have the best fighting game roster ever within a couple of years. The gameplay is as fun, deep, and fluid as the best in the platform fighter genre. Focusing on 2v2 with perks allows for a ton of depth and constant new matchups. Good tutorials, a good amount of in game content to unlock, multiple modes with more to come, and built in leaderboards already!

Hard to find anything to complain about outside of some pricey cosmetics (welcome to 2022 F2P games), no leaver penalties, and time between matches can be a bit too long.

If you've ever enjoyed fighting games or platform fighters, I can't imagine not at least trying this game out, especially with a friend if you can.

Like CoD, but on PC with smart choices. Every patch I've seen over the past couple of months has been better and better. If you like Search and Destroy/CS:GO pace in your shooters, this is your thing.

Icons: Combat Arena is a FANTASTIC platform fighter made by people who understand these types of games and the community behind them, I think there's a character in the game for everyone, and $25 dollars to get every character FOREVER while games like Smash Bros and Street Fighter charge for the full game AND the DLC is a breath of fresh air. Gameplay is super fast, very well balanced, and provides a bunch of the tech skill I have come to love in Melee. I could not recommend this game more to anyone ineterested in competitive gaming, especially if they like platform fighters.
