180 countries still can't play this game. That's highly undemocratic for me.

The thought of playing this game always makes something rising and it isn't Nerevar.

For starters, the 77th Regiment of Foot is a community based around the leading Napoleonic war shooter 'Holdfast: Nations at War' and a persistent world warfare MMO 'Foxhole'. I've been a member of this community for more than 2 years (joined in July 2021) and have played both games. But this isn't about the community, nor the games I have mentioned. This is a review of this game purely based on my experience.

The game's description has spoken for itself, an abstract representation of joining an online community. The puzzles and levels that you'll find in this game are recreation of trials that one has to go through to not only join our community, but also progressing through the ranks. Every layout actually represented the real deal pretty well. I can't tell you what they are to keep this review spoiler free. But they have something to do with our society in Holdfast: Nations at War. I will be honest that you actually have to be a member of our community to truly appreciate this game.

One issue that's detrimental to the gameplay is there's no backward button which is odd for a supposedly first person game. The hints too are a bit vague and it might take quite a lot of 'huh?' and 'what?' in order to clear a level. Your walking speed also changes depending on the direction you're looking. You move at max speed forward when you look forward but then stop when you look down. I don't know whether this is intentional or not because there's only one section where this matters. It was pretty annoying in general.
