I've played this game for YEARS, back when this game was still titled "Walking War Robots." Since then, the game has declined in overall quality. New robots, the drones, titans, the motherships - all things that this game didn't need, but that the developers (Pixonic, for the most part) added in, things which only serve to bloat the gameplay. Things really took a downhill turn when Pixonic sold themselves out to some other no-names who only made the problem worse.

Nowadays, the game only serves to try and get money out you, spamming you with notifications and arbitrary wait times. Then, they add more weapons, robots and abilities that are simply more powerful than the last set of weapons, robots, and abilities, but which have no direct counter to themselves.

This game is not worth your time. Frankly its review score here on Steam should be much lower (not that the developers care).

I have no idea how to play this game, but hey, it's the most entertaining game iv'e played in a while.

After everything I've seen added, from the free to the paid, this game continues to improve. The latest update, Warfare 2, adds and changes so many things that, even after playing ~1900 hrs, I need to revisit and learn whats new. I know that this game gets a lot of flak for its weird physics and constant DLC that add no real functionality, but even if you can't afford anything but the base game, I think it's definitely worth a try.

Good Game: 10/10 in my books

When I downloaded the game for the free weekend, the game would not let me do anything but browse menus.
