Played a while, is ok.

I tried it for a little while, it was alright.

Graphically - had about 12 FPS on low in actual combat, needs more optimization since it doesn't look that much better than Vermintide but runs way worse.

Combat - felt just like Vermintide with more gun play altho you'll more or less be swinging an axe a lot more than you'll be shooting.

Unlike Vermintide you have a character creator, meaning you can play with 4 Ogryns. You don't need to argue with your friends about who gets to play the Elf. And probably that's the best part.



I don't think I'll play anymore till they've optimized it more. Low FPS isn't fun.

Alt History is fun.

This is a good ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game.

It's incredibly story rich and the gameplay is good fun.

The story is easy to get into, it's also quite deep if you've learned your Greek mythology with many reference. Character interactions is the strongest point, to the point where you'd die on purpose to progress the story.

The gameplay is interesting, fast paced top down action where every run feels unique to some extent. If you're really struggling, there's a video game journalist mode (Easy/God Mode) where you get harder to kill everytime you die.

I couldn't vote this game for every single award.

Vindictus has aged fairly well, for a genre of game rarely seen. Game is still updated to this day.

The only real downside to this game is it's run by Nexon. Who tends to ruin games with Pay to Win mechanics.

Note that this review was written during the Alpha, things may have been fixed at some point.

This game, is terrible. There is literally no tutorial, no way to rebind keys, or even check what keys do what. This game doesn't teach you that you need to press E to interact, or anything. I spent the first few minutes of the game lost due to there being no minimap or quest markers.

The UI is clunky, you can't preview anything before selecting it, so you got to press it, then cancel it to see.

The sound options, are redundant. The only sound option that works, is Master Sound.

Gameplay, the gameplay is literally a clicker. The only option that works is surprise s,e,x. The other option, wastes your income and your time.

The actual adult part of the game, it's the same few animations, and same few faces, for the whole game. Don't worry, you will hardly hear any moaning, the ambient sounds will snuff it out. The same ambient sounds that you can't switch off. I recommend putting in the cheat codes as not to waste your time or mouse's durabliity as you attempt to collect every girl in the game so you can fu,ck her. But wait there's more, there's a minigame called, actually breeding while trying to not commit incest (as it will scuff the value of your girl before you sell her onto the black market).

I spent 5 hours in there, it wasn't worth it.

Controls are clunky, both keyboard and joystick making it extremely hard to play. Expecting this to play like the old Ace Combat on PSP, I was in for a very bad time.

Also, you can't open the menu while flying. So you can't quit or adjust the settings without crashing the plane.

Unless you are an extremely confident flyer with years of mastery and practice, this probably isn't for you.

I played for a few more hours. Still good.

I played this for 1.4 hours. Why, because it was boring.
The game itself looks and plays like a mobile game ported to PC. It wouldn't have been so bad if it was the other way around.
This game also has Pay 2 Rush aspects as different variants of units which you would unlock through grinding or down right paying for it. Which also makes matchmaking hell, because you'll either be playing against someone who has either nothing or everything. #FixMatchmakingMeme

I also heard a sound made by turrets which is blantantly the Soviet MG Turret sound from Red Alert 2.

I saw someone mention it was a reskin of the Starcraft 2 tug of war arcade, and I do agree because once you look at some of the units and abilities, you can tell. Like a Vajra being a Immortal or a or the suicide bug being a Baneling.

The game has some unique parts atleast, personal favourite is the dropship. (Because it's not very balanced.)

4/10 - TLDR basically a reskin of the SC2 Arcade, with some unique features and the need to unlock units. It has potential but not as a PC game. More of Phone game. (Also the screenshot graphics are a lie, textures and shadows effects aren't as good as screenshots. Played on max settings.)
