I am currently writing this review after getting the "golden" achievement which is considered a major milestone and is extremely difficult on it's own, and I wanted to write my thoughts about the game in this review.

N++ is a simplistic, momentum based platformer that feels extremely good to play. N++ is an expansion on the 2 previous games "N+" and "N" which are similar but a lot more outdated. The main "story" of the game is that you play as a ninja who only has 90 seconds to survive, and collecting gold throughout what are called "episodes" increases your death timer by 2 seconds. N++ also has A LOT of content, as well as a pretty good level editor, and even a community who creates difficult custom tabs that can also be a ton of fun if you are more into that sort of stuff. Anyways now that you know the basics lets talk about what I like/dislike about the game itself

Firstly, N++ is great because it feels a lot different than pretty much any platformer i've ever played, and the momentum based physics create some unique mechanics like "perp" jumping as an example. It is extremely satisfying to constantly improve through the extremely long and mostly great campaign (aside from a few levels). Another thing I really enjoy about this game is that the difficulty curve feels extremely good and prepares you well for levels that may seem impossible at first. Now let's discuss some of the less positive aspects...

To start a con everyone can agree on... N++ can randomly corrupt and you can lose everything in an instant. This is a known issue and has not been fixed, so you always have to keep in mind to manually save you data just in case which is a bit annoying. It is a rare bug, but there is a decent probability you will encounter it if you commit to 100%. Nextly, some levels feel extremely repetitive and similar to one another. This is mainly a problem in the legacy tab, but some levels are just boring because you feel like you have finished the level before. Lastly, a more minor problem is that there are some strange bugs when playing on full screen/on some resolutions, so sometimes you are forced to play on a smaller screen which is definitely an inconvenience.

Even with these flaws though, N++ has been incredibly fun and addicting, and I plan on playing a lot more in the future and know knows, maybe I will be a 100%er someday :p

TLTR; Fantastic platformer with unique momentum movement and lots of content. The game is great, but there are some save corruption issues and sometimes levels feel repetitive, but in my opinion one of the most fun games I've ever played and I would recommend picking up if you enjoy platformers at all.
