I could see myself playing for a few more hours.

The worst part about this game is waiting for your friends to finish it so you can actually talk to them about it.

I decided to review after seeing a few negative reviews on here, and figured I'd give my thoughts.

I really enjoy this game. The graphics feel good, it runs well, the gun play is nice and feels satisfying when you manage to land a shot.

Closest comparison to another series would be Hell Let Loose. There is a similar level progression to that as well, where you have an overall level, as well as a level per class. There was a recent update which certainly seems to make the levelling a little bit quicker, possibly even a little bit faster than Hell Let Loose, and I'm pretty happy with that.

There was a comment about how the tickets reset back to 300 each time a sector is captured. I personally dont mind it at all. There's similar in Hell Let Loose and Squad, in terms of the timer.

My biggest concern for this game isn't any issues in the game itself, it's not having enough of a player base. I have another of this developers games and I have basically never been able to play it online because there's just no players online. On launch I'm really enjoying this, but I worry whether there will even be anyone playing in 1 months time.

One of the better World War 2 shooters I have played and has a very active community so you can actually play it.

I wouldn't say this is bad, but it certainly isn't much of a game.I played through it fully twice, once on normal, once on veteran, my total play time is 20 minutes. It handles fine, looks alright, didn't experience much bugginess, but it is so small that theres not much opportunity to run into them.

Maybe if there were a few more levels to this, I could recommend it, but honestly, if you went in guns blazing, you could probably finish the game in less than 5 minutes. There was no appreciable difference to me between normal/veteran difficulty. The enemies wont shoot you unless they're within maybe 30m of you, so you can easily pick all the enemies off from a far.

its alright i guess

Simple first person shooter, but quite fun, looks decent enough, and most people are super friendly. Servers can feel like old school source games, everyone just chatting ♥♥♥♥.

Look, I don't feel like it's what we were all promised back when this was first being announced, but so much later down the track, coming in and playing again, it is really quite fun. It is incredibly well optimised, at least in my case, especially in comparison to ARMA 3.

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ servers are quite unforgiving, so if you find yourself struggling I suggest joining a custom server.
They generally make things a little bit easier and just give you a chance to get into the game quicker and meet up with friends easier.

Probably wouldn't recommend this at it's full price, but on a sale I'd recommend. Its great to get a bunch of mates together, meet up and roam around Chernarus.

One of the best Fallout games out there

One of the most fun aspects of the game, the community based content, have just been severely stunted just because an already extremely rich company feels it needs to get richer.

Amazing game! Gotten plenty of fun out of it and the frequent updates are a massive bonus! You will struggle to get bored!
