A lot of people in the reviews are complaining that the MOBA-mode got stripped out during the Beta and are disgruntledly quitting as a result.

To them I say: GOOD RIDDANCE.

Probs to the developers for realizing that the mode was negatively impacting the game - with the MOBA mode out we are back to the basics that made Orcs Must Die one and two so great.

There are orcs.
They must die horribly funny deaths.

This is how it has always been in these games, and it has never ceased being fun.

The MOBA mode can ♥♥♥♥ right off.

By the time you're done with the first level, you will want to scream 'FOR THE EMPEROR!!'

On paper, this seems like your standard third person shooter, there's bullets coming out of stuff, and there's regenerating shields, so all we need now is the cover, right?

... What do you mean there's no cover function? What do you mean that what cover there is, is fully destructible? What do you mean shields are depleted easilly? What do you mean I won't be shooting at stuff most of the time? What do you mean I have to wade in there and execute stuff to regain my non-regenerating health?

Welcome to Space Marine, where taking cover is HERESY, and where the best way of dealing with problems is to chop its head off or crush it with your BARE HANDS!

In the grimdark future of Warhammer 40K, there is only war. And it is glorious, fun to play, and a relief from the mediocrity of other third-person shooters with cover.

For optimal enjoyment of Renegade Ops, follow these simple pointers.

1) Leave your braincells and neurons at the door, you won't be needing them.
2) Pick a driver and a mission.
3) Drive like the devil wants you dead
4) BSU - BLOW. STUFF. UP.
5) Look at all the pretty explosions and wanton propertydamage, and listen to resident former Four-Star General and present Badass give you pointers as to what you absolutely must blow sky-high.
6) Watch the points rack up
7) Having fun yet? If not, this game is not for you.

Renegade Ops is dumb, brainless, undistilled FUN at it's finest. BSU'ing is the name of this game, if you like pretty explosions, over-the-top weaponry and general badassery, then this game is for you.

spent 16 hours on this game from the campaign, and there's 4 player online co-op and splitscreen local.

Definitely one of my favorite games.
