Been a fan of Runescape (more so OSRS as its referred to now), for many years thanks to my older brother.

When I saw a new game coming out made by Adam, I was pretty excited.

But after trying the game myself, Its not something I enjoy playing and heres why

Let me start off by saying the game looks visually pleasing, its done well, but s very cookie cutter assets used for every prop item in the game, a very clunky (robloxish) UI.

Everything is just interconnected series of rooms built out of minecraft cubes.

And there is no chat or emphasis on player interactions yet ( weird choice for an MMO)

Skills are locked to certain areas, gear/ equipment/ combat is zone/chapter locked, so once you progress you cant use anything you had before. makes rare finds pointless.

all combat is just auto locked 1v1 with pretty bad rng (imo)

death means nothing other than wasting time rerunning to the same spot you were


This just seems like a very empty game for a time sink. There doesnt seem to be any actual reward to progressing in the game.

Might give it a try when the game is more fleshed out and the game has had more time to develop.

Too difficult

A short story about a father and his son. <3
I thought this was a cool game, and the addition of a creative mode helped sell this for me.

I recommend getting this on sale, as this is a very short game and I dont think its worth full asking price
I am happy with it at $5.

Love the addition of the videos of cats and the addition of fan cat photos.

Will be on the lookout for more from this team :)

maybe its just me, but I cant seem to figure out the combat in this game, and am unable to get past even collecting the debt from kunesh.
restarted my save to try more strength even and it didnt seem like it made any difference except i landed one light attack compared to landing no hits before.

might try to pick this up again one day but i had to uninstall the game bc it was too hard

Gameplay could have run smoother, long loading times for new zones, sometimes quest objectives would not update causing me to have to reload a previous checkpoint but overall had an entertaining story and fun gameplay.



Downsides to this game, not very much replay value and the game felt very short to me. Was expecting more to do after beating the final boss in terms of exploration or at least having the option to do extra side bounties.

Its been a long time since I played Ispy as a kid, and this really hit the spot for me.
Amazing game, amazing art, very jammable soundtrack, and some awesome cats behind this game <3

Overall I would def recommend this game to anybody who enjoys cats or ispy
