The problem with Baldur's Gate 3 is that it's so good, you're going to wish Larian Studios gave this treatment to all the other Dungeons & Dragons settings: Planescape, Ravenloft, etc.

A boy can dream. :'(

Early Access Review
Enjoying this idle game a lot more than I initially expected too. It provides a welcome respite from Idleon, when that starts to give me a headache. :D

I'd say the progression is pretty well-paced, and the in-game-currency drops are generous. Really excited to keep plugging through the game's locked options and features, and definitely interested to see what the dev comes up with next.

Game of the year, hands down. There's so much depth and replay value, not to mention great voice acting, incredible music, and that "oh, just one more run..." mechanic that made me suddenly realize "crap, it's three a.m." more than once. I haven't had this much fun with a rogue-like in a long time. Yes, it's going to be difficult at first. You'll get better, trust me.

Sorry, this game is a hot mess. I can almost forgive the completely unhelpful user interface. I can't really forgive the game's complete lack of depth. Instead of going for 16 quadrillion random planets (or whatever), I wish the developers concentrated on making 200 (or fewer) really badass, memorable ones. Or maybe a remote control for spaceship summoning. Or perhaps a system that doesn't require all of your inventory space to keep your character upgraded. Or combat. Or interesting side-quests from the game's few other factions. Or some way to see the top-down view of your ship so you have any idea of where you're landing. And those are just minor quibbles to the (apparently) fairly short draw distance for generated textures/environments, the PC choppiness, et cetera.

I've put a decent amount of time into No Man's Sky, but I don't think I'll be coming back before the second or so content pack gets released for the game.
