So i have now spent about 1000 hours of my life into this savage world called rust! So here is my point of view on this game!

I have witnessed this game change over time, Switching for diffrent gameplay systems ect. and i would highly recommend this game for PvP fans and general survival players, even tho the "survival" aspect of the game is not really that high

Rust cant be loved by everyone and i respect that. But Rust takes work to play, People are going to kill you and you are sometimes gonna lose 1 week progress because someone decided to raid you. That is part of the game which make Rust to Rust.

You gotta accept that this game wont give you content if you are not willing to grind. Most people are toxic and will probably KOS (kill on sight). You are gonna find yourself getting killed over and over again by geared guys even tho you just spawned multiple times. Dont worry tho, we have all been there

But even tho all this negative things i have had the best moments from this game! I have met a lot of new friends which i to date still play with and had a lot of funny interactions with nakeds on the beach or geared guys by airdrops.

(Current Status)
Rust just change system from a component based system where you had to find certain components to craft items to a Bp (Blueprint) system where you have to find the items and then research them to be able to craft them. The community has some mixed feelings about this but personally I love this update because it goes back to the roots of rust but also makes the game a slower progression. Before you could see people with aks after a day but now people are still using crossbows 2-3 days into the wipe.

Rust is a great game and its going in the right direction

Until Beta i can not give this game a thumbs up!

Dayz is both a great game but also a really ♥♥♥♥♥♥ one!
Dayz has been in alpha for almost 5 years now. I can accept that they had to pretty much make a new engine and that took time and money to do, but thats not an excuse for not updating the game with new content months apart. They told us in 2015 that helis was near completion and would be release around christmas 2015. Here we are today! Almost christmas 2017 and the cars are almost undriveable. They have been "teasing" new weapons to the game like the m249, PKM, RPG and tazers for over a year now.

I understand that jokes go around that Dayz is a running simulator because it is. You run most of the time and it can take ages. This not a completly negative thing, this makes the game so "unforgiving" and you feel more connected with your character because you dont want to die and run another 40 minutes to get back where you where (not including loot).

The lastest "sneek peeks" of 0.63 or "beta" have shown some hope for this game but its taken too long. Devs work really slowly (im not a dev or even know how they work but i can surely say that they are not the most effective devs out there.....).
I have no idea if this game can even be revived after all the hate and drama. (Rip all youtubers who tried to give their opinion and critic about the game only to get blocked on twitter by the devs).

All tho all the negativity i have a lot/most of my memories in this game. I started around summer 2014 and in the beginning i thought it was a blast. I remember seeing people and feel my whole body getting pumped with adrenaline (most of that dissapear after you play a lot) or when me and some friends woke up early in the morning on holidays to get helicrashes and rare weapons before others. Even tho i only have 640 hours in this game it still feels like i have been playing for ages and because all of the running and other "boring" stuff you remeber more of the fun times and your sick sniping kills in Cherno ;)

Right now Dayz is not that buggy like it used to be in most core gamplay execpt pvp and vehicles (which still dont seem to be a big part of the game). PvP has gone to ♥♥♥♥ lately. You can empty a mag into a player and every single shot gets unregistered only to have him kill you. This makes trading with people a lot easier.

Over all this game seems to have a promising future but at the stage it is right now its almost unplayable. No updates, No new content and No good PvP
For now i cant recommend buying this game if you are not a hardcore survival game gamer!
